Budget Host Inn - Motel in Ironwood - 447 W Cloverland Dr, USA

Outstanding Value! My Brother and I were coming up from Madison, WI/Rockford, IL for a ski trip over the winter holiday break. Intent on skiing and relaxing, we wanted affordable accommodations that were clean and well kept. Budget Host Cloverland in Ironwood, WI was AWESOME! it checked every box that we could have hoped for and then some! Room was immaculate and well maintained. Everything worked properly and my brother and I were both VERY impressed with the overall experience. Especially given the price point! Kevin was kind and cordial at check-in and offered suggestions on places to eat, and gave us local discount cards in the event that we chose to eat at any of these locations. We were very pleased with our experience and I would absolutely stay there again!

I stayed here last fall for a local road race and was very impressed: Super clean, spacious, 2 bed room. Comfy bed. Reasonably priced. Easy drive to so many outdoor sights. Plan to return next fall, trying to schedule a summer trip, too.

While it was a great value for the price, it is the cleanliness that sttod out to me.|I have an aversion to motels based on experience, but this one is different. You can see the pride they take in presenting a comfortable environment for their guests. It is obvious that they care about what you think.|All features functioned as they should..., no plugged drains. no temperamental switches, no noisy plumbing.|Small flaw might be the rooms are not sound proofed well. I could EASILY hear the neighboring room's bathroom shower from our bathroom. Also recall a little noise from upstairs a couple of times. But we don't run the TV or any other white noise devices, which might have covered those up.|Anyway, great place with personable keepers. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.|HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

If you are expecting the Ritz, go to New York. If you are expecting the Bellagio, go to Vegas. If you are in the Hurley/Ironwood area, and you are looking for a spacious and very clean room with r_e_a_l_l_y comfortable beds, then consider the Budget Host Motel. There is no pool, or hot tub, or continental breakfast. During our stay in November (they are ordinarily closed, but the owner kindly accommodated us), the fridge was cold, the room was warm, and the shower was hot. ||It is a roadside motel. Set expectations accordingly and you will most likely be quite pleased.|

Very spacious clean room. Two queen size beds are comfortable. It was a cold night, but the heater worked well. WI-FI conniption is reliable. Internet speed is good enough for streaming video and uploading pictures and videos for cloud backup. We are very satisfied.

Very clean motel, nice rooms and friendly & helpful owner. The beds were comfortable, the room was quiet & warm and it had all the things I need when I’m traveling back and forth to Canada. I met a couple who were on their way back from Alaska—a LONG drive—and they loved it too. Will return!!

I always rely on TripAdvisor reviews when trying to find a motel. This motel had good reviews so we went with it. Our room (35) was clean, quiet, and comfy. Good shower too. Nice owner. We’d stay again.
