Budget Host Inn - Motel in Vernon - 715 Wilbarger St, USA

I stayed at Budget Host Inn for a week. The room was well-maintained and clean. The neighbourhood was peaceful. The room was well-functioning, with everything from the air conditioning to the plumbing working perfectly, and the amenities provided were more than sufficient. Lastly, the motel owners were exceptionally welcoming and accommodating, always ready to assist with any requests or questions. Their warm hospitality truly made a difference and enhanced the overall experience. I would highly recommend Budget Host Inn to anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing stay under reasonable price.

Clean room with a cold AC in the Texas summer! The desk manager was very nice and made sure I was happy with my room. Would recommend for the economy traveler.

The rooms are terrible and need to be upgraded as well as the bathrooms. There are mosquitos in the room and the room was dirty

Would not recommend. Very tiny, uncomfortable room with extremely old, cheap mattress and terrible bedding. Room very dusty and just not pleasant. We pulled in past midnight and there were unsavory people just hanging out right outside our room playing music outside. What kind of management would allow this?? Spring an extra $20 and go to one of the nicer chain places just up the road. Regrets.

Great little place in Vernon TX. Service was good and the air conditioning was working well.

I am traveling across the country currently so I booked this hotel online. I noticed when booking a room online that half the times the photos are not accurate to what the place actually looks like but in this case they were accurate and I was not disappointed. The rooms have been completely renovated from the floor up (new everything). Just last night I stayed in a motel six 300 miles away and it was a dump and cost more. The price for my room was definitely affordable especially compared to the other hotels offered in this area; and in my honest opinion this one is probably better well-maintained than the other ones as well. The staff was also very friendly, greeted me immediately, and I had my room with the view I wanted within 5 minutes. So if you're staying in Vernon, Texas definitely go with this hotel.

Do NOT judge this property by the outside. Our room was immaculate at half the price of the premium hotels in Vernon which were booked for the night. No breakfast provided but who cares? With the money saved, we ate well nearby and filled the gas tank. One overlooked wonder of this place is a mulberry tree in the courtyard that has to be one of the oldest trees in Texas. Not much to look at initially until you inspect it closely. You will then see an indication of its history. Out front of the motel was a perfectly tended bed of hibiscus in full bloom. They are indicative of the extra care the owners of this place put into the property. For what it's worth, our room was 101. We slept wonderfully. The neighborhood is quiet.

I don't know if Lily is employed by competition or just power trips but her post does NOT represent any of my experiences here. My work has taken me to Vernon for the last 10 years. I have stayed here around 30 times. The owners care about this business. The rooms are very clean, zero bed bugs, zero nastiness. The rooms have been completely remodeled and are modern. Flat screens work, AC works, heat works. Sheets are changed. Owners are great. It's off the freeway a few blocks so no noise. No surrounding drama. And for the price it's the best deal in this part of Texas. I know.
