Good motel. Nothing outwardly wrong with room but standard motel room experience. I felt safe. No gross stains on carpet or anything Also I accidentally left my quilt there and they shipped it to me across the country very quickly upon notice.

Had a wonderful stay here, highly recommend. It's the best of a family owned place (not corporate) - flexible owner, clean room (with no chemical sprays used!), comfortable bed and pillows, high water pressure in the shower, good AC, ice available free, good small refrigerator in the room, tea/coffee in the morning. Modest fee for my small non shedding dog. Really I wish I could find this kind of motel everywhere.

My husband and I went to view the eclipse -- We are so glad we stayed here. It is a family-run business and they were so courteous and helpful to us. The beds were so so comfortable with what felt like high quality linens. I highly recommend this sweet little motel.

This place is a disgusting! They have BEDBUGS!! We were so tired we stop to rest. I woke up with bites all over my legs. And on head. ... I'm sure the bugs are traveling with us. I'm am so grossed out every time it itch. We will never stay with your hotel again. People watch out for BEDBUGS!!

It was nice, They allowed my ESA , to stay with me. The price was $79.99 a night. That included the pet fee.If I decide to return to Illinois, I will stay at The Budget Host Inn

Great, affordable motel. Interior and furniture is dated and needs some TLC, but the room was clean and much better than I expected for the price. Continental breakfast consisted of standard cereal and other uncooked items.

I stayed at the Budget Host in Greenup for 6 nights. I was in town to visit family, but had to work online and their wifi was slow so I called Budget Host to inquire on their wifi. They were friendly and ensured me that it was fast. I booked a room with trepidation, but was pleasantly surprised by the entire stay. The wifi was fast, staff friendly, decent coffee always available, clean room, comfortable bed, hot water, great location and all for only $60ish per night. I will stay again.
