Tried this place for the first time today and ordered for pick up . We decided to try it based off reviews as many of the Chinese restaurants we frequent have really declined in quality. The food was ready in about 10 minutes and was extremely fast. The man who helped us was very nice and seemed really appreciative. We ordered the dinner for family of 5 and got Orange Chicken, Beef & Broccoli and General Tso’s . Everything was so delicious and smelled incredible. All the food was fresh, the vegetables were nice and crisp and the Lo Mein is one of the best around. We will definitely be back.
Nice owner & very clean place. They have great General Tsao’s & Orange Chicken. I haven’t tried the other dishes , but those were delicious.
This place is so so good! The orange chicken, chicken lo mein and beef and bean…SO GOOD. It’s for sure my favorite Chinese food in the area. They were so nice and gave my husband a discount when he came to pick up our order in uniform. Check this place out for sure! Yummy!
I must try something new...Shredded Pork with dried green beans....SO delicious...I just can not seem to try anything new. Pot stickers also great and the better half loves the Beef and Broccoli. Owner is super friendly!
Yep it could have been better. What was seriously lacking with the three dishes I ordered was vegetables. What is up with these Chinese places that focus on meat meat meat and no veggies! Veggies are cheap and add more to the dang meal. The hot and sour soup was good but when the three dishes came out all of us said "Where's the veggies?" I paid $50 for three dishes and was completely unsatisfied. As soon as I got home I had to have veggies just to make up for the lack of... LOL. This was my first and my last time here folks and I suggest if you go here you will have to spend extra money for just a veggie dish. Also, when I order two distinctly different chicken dishes they better look and taste different. This was not the case. The sign of a great Chinese restaurant is when every dish looks and tastes uniquely different. Enough said, go somewhere else.
Absolutely delicious! Especially the honey walnut shrimp! And the staff is so kind and friendly. I love eating there
💥💥 My wife and I finally found a Chinese Restaurant that is like New York style . 💥💥 We have lived in Utah now for 14 years and we have eaten at many places but no one has ever come close to it , until we walked into , BUDDHA BELLY, LOCATED IN KAYSVILLE, UTAH. My wife and I first noticed how super clean everything was, sorry but that is very important to me as it shows pride of ownership. Our host (Jason) was super polite and seated us both. I ordered the beef lo mein, and my better half the Orange Chicken, from the dinner menu. I tell you I was a bit apprehensive at first. To make a long story short, my wife and I were blown away 🧨🧨by the quality and mostly the taste of the two perfectly prepared meals, it was fantastic 🤩. I introduced my wife and myself to Jason who is the owner and ( chief cook and bottle washer) meaning he and his wife do everything. After some good conversation I informed Jason that we would be back and that we will be bringing our family too. Well folks, that is about it I always say, if in doubt, try it out - YOU WON'T BE SORRY. HAVE A GOOD ONE, BE SAFE 👍👍🇺🇸
We have been looking for a good Chinese Restaurant in Kaysville/Layton ever since the Royal Jade sold to a new owner. I think have found our new Go To Chinese Restaurant. We really enjoyed the Kung Pau chicken and the Sweet and Sour chicken. They add a lot of vegetables to their dishes which is what I enjoy. Try the Buddah Belly - you will have an excellent meal.
