Good food and very friendly service. Enjoyed the corned beef hash and eggs.
Good breakfast spot. I came in here after an interesting night of camping quite a few miles down the road. This place definitely satisfied my hunger. It has a very homey feel to it. You can tell that a lot of locals regularly eat here. The atmosphere did not disappoint either with deer heads mounted on the wall as well as cool yooper memorabilia. The place was also very clean. As for food, I ordered 2 scrambled eggs, a side of corn beef hash, toast, and a side of ranch. It was all very good. While I was ordering, the waitress curiously asked me what the ranch was for. I told her it was for the hash and we both laughed. Good times for sure. Overall, this place is worth the visit if you are in the area looking for a good breakfast.
Great little place to eat with the family! The staff is nice, and the food is good!
Great establishment. Costumer service is beyond what I expected. Great service and food . If the food isn’t cooked to your liking they will recook it . Wish the main chain establishments would take heed. Definitely will be back
Relaxed, home town restaurant that serves up good food for reasonable prices. If you in the area drop in. Servers are all very polite and it's worth taking the time to stop by if you're passing thru
Had been on the road for 7 hours and decided to try it because if its high ratings. I should have turned around at the door but I was tired and hungry. The food was ok but the general appearance from the worn out table edges to the filty floor and rest rooms made it less than appetizing. I'm glad the locals like it. All the best to them.
Hometown restaurant standard. No-frills food, service and atmosphere. If mounted bucks, fish, and game on the walls offend you, I would suggest Big Boy. I've eaten here for many years, and over three or four owners. Over-tip the waitresses, they work long and hard hours. What to have? The cudighi is good, as is the potato sausage, eggs, and limpu toast for breakfast. Fish fry on Friday is always crowded, but really good.
Small town diner experience from old school Americana. A favorite place (especially for breakfasts!), friendly staff, and gluten free options.
Went there on a Friday night so it was extremely busy, but it was worth the wait. The fish was good and got a very good-sized piece. The waitress was awesome was very attentive. Would definitely go back.
Awesome hike. Really short. Falls were somewhat tricky to find. GPS wanted to take me through private property. Even the actual road in to the trail seemed like we weren't supposed to be there lol
I love this place! It's part of home, it's part of me when I return home to visit! The cudighi is spot on (frozen and to go as well!). I always get the frozen cheese tortellini and cheese ravioli, and their gnocchi is to die for! Many other Italian i
The folks who run the museum are incredible! They went out of their way to give our students at Midwest Truck Driving School a tour during the closed season and they opened up the attractions for our students to see! Everyone came back ranting and ra
Everything great about a small town Italian restaurant. Great food and good company with a laid back atmosphere. We ordered the bread sticks (full not Half) and mozzarella sticks. The bread sticks came on a 14" pizza pan covered in cheese and parmesa
This is a great place. Had a veggie chicken wrap, excellent! The service and atmosphere were outstanding. Waitress checked on us several times, very professional. Highly recommended a visit.
