Buckroe Motel - Lodging in Hampton - 1512 E Pembroke Ave, USA

A friend stayed there. It smelled awful. There was long dog hair under the bed. They told them they had to leave that day and refused to give their money back. They had paid for a week and had not done anything wrong. They were told the city shut them done for safety reasons. They refused to give their money back. Reminded me of a dumpy montel.

Had my reservations about this place after asking around but gave it a shot. Glad I did. Definitely not the Same Buckroe Motel from back in the day. The lady that checked me in was awesome. The managers are new and they (Brenda and Tracy) are wonderful. Tracy, the assistant manager was very friendly and knew a lot about the area. She recommended the best places for food and recreation. The room was very clean and had just been renovated. Fresh paint new appliances, new bedding, new TV. They were alsoredoing several more rooms that week. It was so nice. Very quiet and no nonsense. Felt safe here. The drugs are not welcome anymore and they have signs up saying so. Would feel safe having my mother or kids stay here.

If you're on drugs or on the run this is the place for you. let me tell you about my experience at this horrible motel.. for one I was given a room that was not cleaned at all and filthy it was trash and mold black mold and old food stains on the walls it smelled HORRIBLE you can tell that room haven't been touched. I itched all night im a extremely clean person and i felt so uncomfortable all night couldnt change room due to it not being anymore apparently don't know who management is anymore but she looks to be on drugs too the one that I spoke to if that was management. Don't waste your time or money on this place it's not worth it and you will regret it. It needs to be shut down until improvements are made. 0/10

I have known this place for years It has always been mismanaged and now it's under new management for the past 2 weeks that is actually doing their best fixing up the rooms and installing new AC/Heater units. The rooms are clean with no bugs. Beds have bed bugs coves. Linen is clean with no stains and the management actually cares and is doing a good job turning this place around

The management are supposed to helpful,try hopeless, asked for a fitted sheet because the one that they changed it with was to small so for 2 night's had to keep getting up all night to fix the sheet and that's not even the kicker is that I had a microwave and refrigerator in the room and neither one of them worked so my stay here for I believe it was 2to3 weeks that I stayed very unpleasant. Would not recommend, spend your money for a comfortable and non-stressful night. Stay Safe

This is a warning to all travelers do not stay at this hotel. The manager and her son are dishonest and will steal your property. Also the owners of this hotel need to be run out of business. This place is not fit for anyone to stay at there is drug dealers and prostitution working out of this place.

It was unsanitary. Curtains ripped down from the windows. The smell of mold and mildew . The feeling of everything being dirty is present. As soon as I saw the rooms available to me I asked for my money back. Very awful condition. For health reasons I wouldn't advise anyone to stay there.

The owners/management are not willing to hear you tell them their wifi doesn't work they never believe the guest telling them the truth. This place was built over 60 years ago and they hire the cheapest contractors to do work and repairs on this place. Don't stay long cause they're not cleaning the room till you leave. If you sleep in in the morning the never ending construction start at 8 am if they wake you they will laugh at also After checking out was supposed to be credited $5 on my card for the key instead I got fraudulent charges on my card that night
