This place is simply wonderful. The location is fantastic, the service is superb, and the rooms and cabins are cute and cozy. Stayed here for the second time, a year after the first. We were in the Hummingbird cabin this time, which is a perfect cabin for two. Both times I stayed I was able to request plates and utensils so that we could heat up food we brought in the in-room microwave. They also have charcoal available for grilling outside. The staff are more than happy to make sure you have what you need. And on top of all this, the location is probably the best in the area. If you want to visit Sequoia, it's right there. Want to spend an afternoon resting and relaxing? The river is right there and they have chairs and tables set up right at the river. Three Rivers has some great shops and restaurants to visit and the Lodge isn't far from them either. A truly great place to stay to experience this part of the world.

We stayed at the Dogwood Cabin for 6 nights. The cabin was amazing and our entire family (4) which included our two boxer pups fit perfectly. The location of Buckeye can’t get any better, you are literally less then 5 mins to the entry gate of Sequoia National Park and about 10 mins the opposite directions is Three Rivers where you can access the Kaweah River through several marked areas. Not to mention the Kaweah River is right behind Buckeye Tree Lodge, you can hear it if you just open the windows. Our trip was relaxing and fun. We will definitely come back in the near future. Also the staff at Buckeye were amazing, nice, Friendly and helpful. Thanks for an amazing stay.

This place was wonderful. View off the balcony was right over a river. And only 2 minutes from the park entrance. Clean, comfortable beds. Movies to borrow. Great local advice. Staff was very friendly and accommodating to any needs we had. Will definitely stay here again

The place is magical. We stayed as a family of four. The place has it all. It’s half mile from sequoia foothills entrance. There is a very good restaurant beside the lodge with a discount since we are staying at the lodge, their food is great by the way 😀,there is a swing for your kids by the river, there is a river by the balcony of our place, we did picnic by the river after a long sequoia trip. This place is a gem. The beds are comfortable and we all slept like babies. Rose is wonderful, she assisted our every needs, gave us some tips on our trip to sequoia. She is lovely. ❤️❤️❤️😍😍😍😍😍Love this pace and will recommend it to family and friends.

I've spent many nights in towns outside National Parks and good accommodation can be hard to find. I'm very pleased to have found the Buckeye. Booking was easy, the follow up phone call courteous, and the room (#5) was updated and comfortable. The bar/restaurant next door meant the location outside Three Rivers had no downside. The proximity to the park made an early start easier.|My only regret was that I only stayed one night.

My friend and l had a fabulous stay at Buckeye Tree Lodge - literally 1/4 mile from entrance to Sequoia Natl. park and located right on the Kaweah river with beautiful views which you can access from your back door. ||The staff was super friendly and helpful and the room was awesome - very roomy with a mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker and all the amenities you would need for a short stay - and super clean on top of it all! Definitely will be our choice next time we visit the park!

While this hotel is older, it is well cared for and the proximity to the river can't be beat. Being able to step out on the patio with morning coffee and watch the river flow was a special moment. I've stayed in the park, but honestly Buckeye Tree was closer to the big trees than any in park lodgings. The fresh ground coffee was a nice touch, and office personal was there all day to fill ice, coffee, tissues etc. Very friendly and helpful staff. Being able to walk over to the Gateway restaurant made our stay a perfect balance of immersed in nature with all mod cons. The hotel rooms are just a few short steps to the river, with the cabins across the street from the river.

The front desk personnel were friendly and helpful with all our questions regarding the lodge. Wonderful garden with bbq’s, chairs and umbrellas just steps away from the river.|Bob repaired the A/C promptly. A 3 inch foam mattress cover would help with the hard bed. The room was very small but freshly painted and clean. Well equipped for an old motor lodge. We brought yogurt and granola for breakfast. They provided local coffee beans , a grinder and a 4 cup coffee maker and the extras, cream and sugar for morning coffee at the indoor table. We called it the cafe. The pool was open but very cold, so we didn’t get in. Very close to Sequoia Park entrance .

This is a nice area. I went here and was satisfied with my experience. This is a grove filled with sequoia trees and there are numerous hiking trails that go through these groves. There’s also a visitor center here with exhibits about sequoia trees
