Appetizers we got chicken wings (buffalo) and the duck wings. Chicken wings were good not dry and cooked just right. This was the first time I've had duck, and these duck wings were very delicious, cook amazingly great sesame sauce paired very well. Got a buck's burger. Very juicy, cooked perfectly, honestly ate it before I could get a picture of it. Paired with the coleslaw it was amazing. Even got a side of fries. Well made could of been a little more well done but I still got some crunch. All in all very good food. Staff was very friendly.
Prompt service. Great food. Good size portions. Only a 20 minute wait for a party of 6. Awesome live music. Performer saw my son walk in wearing a Phish t-shirt and opened his set with a Phish song that got crowd rocking and rolling.
The food was great and as well as the service! I’ve been wanting to try Buckalew’s for a long time and I was not disappointed. I got the linguine with clams and it was super good. I also tried the new york 14oz. steak which had some fatty pieces, but it was still delicious especially with the vegetables on top. I had a party of 7 and I believe that everyone at my table was satisfied. Buckalew’s honestly have a lot to choose from. There’s sushi, steaks, burgers, pasta, grilled cheese and everything in between. Because of this I think the restaurant can appeal to more and more people (because a lot of variety type foods there are still delicious). I give this restaurant a solid 5/5 because although I did give the food 5/5, it’d probably be more like 4.7/5 but the service was good. Not to mention the atmosphere was pretty cool although it wasn’t like outstanding, it was still pretty great and a really amazing restaurant and I recommend to anyone who wants a good sit down bite down in LBI.
Went to Buckalew's for lunch today. As opposed to normally going for dinner.
Christina was our server. She was really great.
Today I just had their Reuben sandwich with fries. Very delicious. Looking forward to going again the next time I'm in LBI. Next time, definitely dinner. Oh, the picture is of the take out order I took when I got home.
A little loud, but the food and service shines thru. Solid drink menu and the food was on point. A definite second trip here next time on the island.. easy in and easy out during the busy season. Thank you Megan, your a superstar and the reason I'll be back
Classic rustic beach town bar. Menu had a great mix. Can’t get pot pie and sushi at many places. Wife and I sat at the bar. The bartender was very nice and attentive. Sushi was nice but the flavor of the rice was a bit bland. Maybe didn’t have any rice wine vinegar cooked into it, not sure. Jumbo pretzel was fantastic. Fish and chips were great. Clams we slightly undercooked but the broth an bread made up for it. Beer was tasty 😋
We went down to Chowder Fest in Beach Haven, Buckalews had some goooood Chowder BUT we were going to go to dinner at Station 117 Tavern (because we were all chowder'd out) only to find that it is closed for the season. Buckalews is attached to Station 117, we were hungry and that's where we ended up. Food was good, service was great. It's confusing because it still looks like Station 117 is open but assuming they won't open back up till the spring.
The wait times were ridiculous, if you’re going to have us wait over an hour and a half for a table at least tell us that. The food was overpriced and mediocre. I really had high hopes for this place but the oysters on the half shell tasted dirty and briny and I’ve had oysters all over the state. This place was probably the worst, the calamari didn’t taste great at all, and I was really looking forward to it. It tasted like old oil, and the vast majority of what was supposed to be calamari were peppers and Olives… the Bucks burger was good but wow do you skimp on the fries. I will say our waitress was absolutely incredible, she was working as fast as she could. She was very kind and dealing with our party she did good. But theres a lot of issues with this place. I probably won’t be back.

ABSOLUTELY LOVED THE ATMOSPHERE!!! Such a sweet family environment! Went there almost everyday during our one week vacation. Thank you Eileen and Brian for being such gracious hosts! See you again! PSâ¦I especially love the outside seating area!!!
We had a party of 12 and everyone enjoyed their meal choice. I ordered the Philly cheese steak and was not disappointed. Full loaded sandwich and fries and out well done as I requested.
Caroline, our waitress was professional and courteous.

What a great place for food, fun and music! The chef's tuna was the best preparation I have ever tasted! Seafood is always fresh, although the local oysters were too large for half-shell consumption for me. Mussels in white wine were perfect! The
Amazing place lots of free goodies (certain things) in the Gift Shop the Maritime History is truly amazing Iâve learned so much. Damn Colonial Times just hits different.
This was our first experience at a Bed and Breakfast. It far exceeded our expectations ! Joanne, Mark and Christina were so welcoming and attentive to our entire stay. Joanne provides a breakfast that is amazing.

I absolutely love Barry's! Definitely one of my family's go-to spots (typically at least once a day while in LBI). There is such a wide variety of food options and I have yet to come across something I haven't enjoyed yet. Staff is always very friend
Bay Village is a pretty cool shopping area on the island. Has a very rustic feel to the exterior. Lots of different stores from candy and toy stores. Absolutely Loved the book store and collectable place. There are outside stands with trinkets and t

Very fun! The element of audience participation is definitely a stressor for anyone with social anxiety, but me and my friend were lucky enough not to be picked. Seems very fun if thats a thing you're into though! The ice cream was great (the wet nut
I got the cinnamon flavor syrup and didn't need it coffee was good enough on its own. Good atmosphere and service. Not many low seats if you plan on staying and have small children, it's mostly high tops tables with bar stool seats
