I've lived in this neighborhood since 1990 my daughter see your photographs were taken there my children have played their most their lives and now that I'm a widow I enjoy walking my baby boy there every day after his dinner he enjoys the lake and enjoys the birds and the ducks I've watched that part be built recommended to any and all

Good place to take Christmas photos. Beautiful leaves and trees. Kids enjoyed walking around and playing on the small bridges around the park. After pictures they got to play at the park. Updated review: after all the heavy rain, the ground around the playground is very uneven. Watch out when walking or running.
Nice park except for the homeless that hang around all day and night. The pond can use more water. Not sure why its low or why the city is letting in get low. Did some fishing caught a couple bass..
I love this park, it is so beautiful and has many things to do. This park has a beautiful pond, a swim center, two play structures (one for older children, and the other for younger children) and also a recreational area with bathrooms which you can rent out for events. It can be especially beautiful if you go during the spring; I brought my little one this March, and we saw many turtles and ducks getting ready to lay eggs. Always be aware of little ones around the pond though, as there aren't many railings.
Nice park to come for a small walk. It has a nice little lake with a fountain in the middle.
Large park with lots of shaded, grassy play or picnic areas. There are some small charcoal or wood burning BBQ grills on post that are cemented in the ground. That's probably a good thing as it assures no single group can selfishly gather more than one. There are also covered picnic areas right near the restrooms. Great if you've rented one of the covered areas as you only have a short walk to well... wash your hands. LOL But wait, there's more! There is a large, deep, cool swimming pool that is perfect to cool off in for those hot summer Pittsburg days. There are more things to list but let's save them for you to explore and discover.
Enjoyed myself large park. Wish there was better parking so you didn't have to carry things so far away.but other then that great park!
