ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!!! Somewhat hidden under a guardrail pull off and a little steep going down but it's a short trek and well worth. We ended up climbing/following the waterfall up aways and it only gets more pretty the further you go. We would've swam but it was a particularly cold day. 10/10 would recommend stopping here
Quick hike to this falls from road. Trail drops down from parking area under guard rail this is steep but levels out quickly with a short hike to falls as seen from roadway. Very nice place for a swim and camping.
Beautiful waterfall just off the road BUT very steep rocky embankment to go down to get to it. There is no service or very little so be careful!
Beautiful! Quick little walk down by the rails on the side of the road. Kinda steep on the way down. Little swimming holes. Recommend water shoes to help with the rocks getting across.
Steep trail down from the pull-off along the road. You actually go down the washout UNDER the guardrail (remember to watch your noggin on the way back up - learned the hard way). Several people at the falls at various levels laying out in the sun and playing in the water. Nice falls, but nothing that I would classify as a “can’t miss”.
Nice access..low water levels were evident, but fortunately we were able to get a shot or two
If you pull off the side of the road and park then travel under the guard rail down the path you will make it to bubbling Spring Falls. This waterfall is beautiful and has four or five levels however we stayed on the bottom level because our dog stays on a leash and the other visitors at the top of the waterfall chose to let their dogs off the leash and the dogs were running around like crazy scaring the children and the other dogs. This waterfall has plenty of small swimming areas and a creek you can travel through.
A great smaller waterfall off Hwy 215 just North of the Blue Ridge parkway. There are a couple of gravel pull offs to park. The area around the falls has been kept clean and not defaced..hope it stays this way.
Pretty little spot to access the water...I can definitely see how it could get a lot of use in the summer. There are metal remnants of what appeared to have been a diving board attached to the large rock - use caution as fragments are just sticking u
Gorgeous falls on both sides of the bridge. The only downside is that if you want to get down to the falls on either side of the bridge, you will have to do some scrambling, which unless you are comfortable and at easy with climbing over slippery ro
Great place to hike and observe Godâs creation! Usually gets really crowded due to popularity, but I got lucky and actually got a parking space in the parking lot. If you are in the area and have the time, definitely worth the stop and time. It
My husband and I frequently visit the Pisgah Inn Restaurant and enjoy both sunrise and sunset views on the property. There are rocking chairs to sit in and a nice deck connected to the restaurant and gift shop to stand and take in the beautiful mount
