I had a lovely stay in a couples studio for a week in April on the top floor. Rooms was spacious, well-equipped and quiet. Jonathan and Clement are wonderful hosts. There to help when needed. Loved the apples, mints and umbrellas in the lobby! Area is much more ‘real’ than further downtown but I never felt unsafe, even when coming back from the theatre at night. Subway quite close so it’s easy to get anywhere. Wonderful stay!
On the Upper East Side, easy transport links to the sights of NYC and the refuge of Central Park on your doorstep. We loved the quietness of the room, it shut out the beeping and sirens that never stop in NYC, we had space to live and rest and prepare for the next days activities. Everything was clean and functional, we had a wardrobe to unpack our cases and plenty of storage space, we used the kitchenette to prepare light meals and the water pressure and heat in the shower was very good. This accommodation is a hidden gem, the owners are available but not visible, they have a wealth of knowledge which they share and it made our stay very comfortable. The 103st Subway is fabulous, the laundry across the road between 102 and 103 allows you to drop a load of washing and collect later that day, up to 10pm The restaurants around the area offer better food and service than downtown. The extra touches such as umbrellas available and apples and mints in the foyer are such gentle reminders that you are a valued guest.

We had a wonderful two week stay at Bubba & Bean in late August/early September - it really felt like our "home" in New York! Communication with Jonathan & Clement before and during our stay was excellent - you have complete privacy when you want it but they were always on hand if you needed something. The house has lots of character and we were at the top of the house, in the "Couples Room" which was very quiet. The room was large and comfortable with a good sized bathroom and a small kitchen area. There was a heatwave when we were in New York and it was great to come home to the air con at the end of a day sightseeing.||||We loved the area with restaurants all over the neighbourhood, subway just a few minutes walk away and Central Park just 10 minutes walk.||||I was very sad to leave and would definitely stay again.
Absolutely wonderful weekend at B&B! It feels like we stayed at a friend’s place in the city. Jonathan & Clement make you feel welcome and taken care of with the little things in your room. We had reusable shopping bags available, a list of locations for various things we may need like vetted restaurants, stores for batteries or other forgotten items, museums, shopping, subway route recommendations, etc. I’d recommend this place to anyone who wants to feel like a local during their stay. We hope to be back soon, thank you.
Excellent accommodations near Mt Sinai Hospital. Very attractive and clean units, comfortable beds, good wifi, and quiet location. Friendly, professional, and flexible management.The best choice for daily quick access to Mt Sinai Hospital. Dining, coffee shops, take out, and markets are all located very nearby. Highly recommended.
This place is a real find in Manhatten. Rooms were spotless and well equipped with everything you could need. The real coffee and snacks were a lovely touch. Jonathan and Clement could not have been more helpful with their tips and advice and luggage storage. Subway only a short walk away or you can hop on a bus just outside. Lovely to be in an area which has some life and there are some really amazing good value restaurants just a few steps away. Will certainly stay here again when in the Big Apple!
This is a wonderful place to stay. The rooms are clean, spacy and very cosy. There is "homely" feeling and the mattresses were perfect. There is a little kitchen, which allowed us to eat some meals at home, which is nice after a long day walking. Jonathan and Clement are the most kind and helpful hosts one can imagine. They had left af basket with the best coffee, tea, chips, chocolate and maps of the subway and busses, take away and tips to the bests restaurants and shops. It was surprisingly quiet at night. ||||The location is great only two blocks from a subway station and a few blocks from Central Park. ||||I can highly recommend this place. We were a group of 6 friends and had 3 rooms and we all loved it.
