In July, we had the pleasure of staying at Brunswick Manor, a long-held ambition fulfilled. The manor's Facebook page has been a source of fascination for years, and the reality exceeded expectations. The house and gardens are a treasure trove of beautifully displayed antiques and artifacts. Sarah, our hostess, was a consummate professional, providing a warm welcome and insightful tour. Our only regret was the short duration of our stay, but we look forward to returning to this exceptional and special place.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Brunswick Manor was delightful. Todd warmly greeted us and showed us around. He made us feel very welcome. This estate is a step back in time with thoughtfully collected antiques. If we had stayed more than one night, I know we would have been able to absorb more of the history that is displayed throughout the manor. I walked around the neighborhood to see the historic homes. In the evening, I sat in the former ballroom and read a very interesting book about Brunswick's historic homes. I had the room to myself and it was so peaceful. My husband and I also enjoyed relaxing on the front porch. Our sumptuous breakfast was elegantly presented in the dining room. It was prepared from scratch and was beyond delicious. Thank you Todd! A future stay at the Brunswick Manor is on our list.
This is a magical place with the best innkeepers in the South. I stayed in the Cumberland Suite and in addition to it being beautiful and elegant, it was also quiet which was perfect for a relaxed stay. The breakfast was perfect and I left wanting to return soon but also deciding to send my adult children there as a special treat. |There is something fascinating to see in every corner of the manor.
This is a wonderful, one-of-a-kind inn! It's incredibly beautiful as is the neighborhood. If you need more than one bedroom forget booking an AirBnb and consider booking the two-room suite downstairs. We enjoyed our stay here and found Iris to be very knowledgable about things to do in the area
My husband and I stayed here 4 nights for our 20th Anniversary/Birthday trip to explore Jekyll and St. Simon's Island. The Brunswick Manor took our breath away with its magnificent veranda, gourmet breakfast every morning and the timeless rooms within. We like to collect antiques and we got many ideas to use at our house from our visit. Todd and Paige were wonderful hosts and made us feel at home. Cocktail hour was wonderful to meet and talk to other guests. We also enjoyed Historic Brunswick shopping and antiquing. There is a Yellow Deli in walking distance that was lovely also. Highly recommend and we will definitely return .
Stayed here on January 16, 2024.
Beware! Looks great on their website but not so great when you see it. It’s TIRED.
The shower was broken with meager. Hot water.
No other guests were present.
The breakfast is served on elegant silver platters. However, a McDonald’s Big Breakfast on styrofoam would have tasted better.
Will never return!
We love this place and plan to continue staying there with 3 exceptions / areas of improvement we look forward to:||1. we both woke up with sore shoulders and realized that the mattresses are too hard and simply need a cushion topper. Other guest we met there felt the same. Oddly I prefer firm mattresses but these were exceptions.|2. May not be an issue, but note cannot control the AC temperature so hopefully will be kept sufficiently cool in summer. We were modestly hot going to bed in early May. |3. The breakfast is very filling and heavy. We felt guilty leaving most of it both times we stayed. As there are only 4 rooms there, suggestion is to ask guests what they may not want. For ex, we would have been great with a continental breakfast (for ex, good coffee, some toast with peanut butter and perhaps yogurt and fruit). Can save time and money preparing sausages, bacon, eggs which may not be consumed. ||Again, we LOVE the place and LOVE the owners and have already booked 2 more evenings in May there. Addressing the above, especially point 1 and ensuring evening temps are sufficiently cool in summer months, will make a very good experience, GREAT.
A bed and breakfast that takes all the cares away! Travel back in time with the most elegant spaces. Very spacious and clean! Breakfast was 5 stars! Ice in room when we first arrived. Innkeeper had such a knowledge of the area. We have been before and cannot wait to return! I truly cannot say enough about this place.
Amazing wraps for the price! We got breakfast, lunch, and dinner for our trip to Cumberland Island! So many options that we were able to create 3 different meals. Very easy to order online and not a crazy long wait.
I have been coming to Daddy Cates for over 10 years! It is still my favorite Cafe. Dee Dee is the sweetest host !! You must go by and try it out ! The Chilli Dogs are AWESOME!
Enjoyed dinner with my beautiful bride. We are a mixed family. She likes drums and garlic parm , and I like flats and sweet BBQ.
Love this restaurant. Owner and all of the wait staff is great. No matter who passes your table they still check on your
I stopped on my way through the area and was very pleased that i did. I had the red curry, and it was one of the best I've ever had. The portions are large, especially for a lunch portion. The service is fast and the staff were all so friendly. The a
This place was definitely amazing. My kids are super picky but they cleared their plates and went back for seconds. It reminded me of back home so it was awesome. I had been searching everywhere for someone to come remote close to Cajun cooking and t
