Bruno's Mexican Kitchen - Mexican restaurant in Sherman - 1411 W Houston St, USA

I know we are not to talk about Bruno’s, but here we go. But the mixed fajitas quesadillas was delicious as was the stuffed chile relleno was also delicious. The sopapillas are actually puffy. Teresa was a pleasant wait staff. Prices were affordable for today’s economy. You can pay about 20 to 40 depending on what you order for two. They do not have a soda fountain. The sodas or soft drinks were all bottled. Overall a place that is making something delicious and make it as affordable as possible.

Outstanding! I came in around 11:15 on a Friday. They weren't too busy other than a party of about a dozen elderly folks who kept the waitress, Ashley, really hopping so the owner came out and took my order. He recommended the Bruno burrito and I went with it. Wow! It was really good. I ordered mine with carne asada and barbacoa. Ashley kept the chips and salsa coming and was very attentive and polite. The salsa is great and the chips are light and crispy. The guacamole is really good also. A very nice experience all around! Thank you!

The food is decent. The chicken soup was wonderful. But they literally have one server for the entire restaurant at lunch rush. What was supposed to be a quick lunch turned into a 90 minute lunch. I felt like i was held hostage just trying to cash out. I'll give them another shot because I love to support local. But I simply can't afford to spend 90 minutes at lunch.

The queso dip is trash, customer service is trash, the sopes are very good. I will not return and I would not recommend this place to friends. I was hopeful and I would have liked to try more menu items but not worth it. Nobody is here which should have been an indicator I should have picked up on. .... update.... I called since the "owner" responded to my review. They did not return my call. So that whole response they posted is worthless 😂

Cozy atmosphere and plenty of seating. Good price and great food to boot! Highly recommend for food west of Hwy 75.

Delicious! Simple and beautiful decor. Place is clean, clean, clean! Everyone, including people in the kitchen said hello as we walked in and said bye as we walked out. The music was loud enough to hear, but not too loud that you couldn't hear anything else. This place was very enjoyable and we felt very welcome and comfortable. This is a restaurant that we will visit quite often. Thank you for Bruno's!

My enchilada was mild, not spicy at all. The beans and rice were good, a little bland. The chips were in a tiny basket. We are accustomed to a bigger basket. The salsa was mild, no spicy. If you like very mild Mexican food, with no spice or heat, this is it.Clean place. Quiet environment. Good service.
