Great park with so many different components: playground, tennis court, basketball courts, fenced dog park, community garden, && shaded green space. Something for everyone & such a nice space to have amidst a busy few streets.
I attended Bruce Monroe as a little girl. Love the artwork on Columbia Road side but could use maintenance. It would be a nice Saturday morning project for our youth. I would love to see more enhancements, shaded trees, other greenery, and comfortable seating shaded from the sun.
I've noticed a gathering lately and have been reluctant to sit there.
A nice park off of Georgia Ave for older kids to play basketball and tennis, and little kids to play on little kid stuff and run around. Park was clean and away from traffic.
I still imagine the school that was here. Now, it's bright open and well kept. I only walk through, if the gate is unlocked on time in the mornings. I've attended two of events held here. In my opinion it should remain open to the public as a "community" park. More traffic pollution and congestion isn't needed in the area.
Nice park with courts for basketball and tennis. There’s a small playground area and a community garden in the back. I took my dog for a walk here and saw a few other dog owners.
Love having a plot here! Because it's publicly accessible, there have been some issues with theft, but it's not avoidable and comes with the nature of the garden.
visited once, and not coming back here ever again. There wasnt really any playground for kids and felt unsafe.
Great spot in DC to get some outdoor activities two basketball courts playground and picnic area. You can dance Samba on Sundays Washington School of Samba practice there starting a 330pm i love this place..
It is a nice garden to walk around or rest on a grass. You can see the Washington Monument from here. Also, it is right next to the Lincoln Memorial. There is a pond that living creatures live.

One of the best places to spot the beautiful and iconic cherry blossoms which draw the whole world to DC. Here are some pics that were taken during sunset that give the pink beautiful flowers, a golden glow. Must visit during the peak bloom time!
Awesome little neighborhood park. Literally a hidden gem, tucked away between houses. The neighborhood association and City do a great job of keeping it up. It is a bit small and crowds quickly.

This is a little-known treasure in SW Washington, DC. It was a gift from the women and children of the Titanic to the men, most of whom died, who chose to stay aboard the sinking ship to make room in the life boats for women to children. This inspiri
Had a great time touring the Capitol. We had to reserve a time to go on but totally worth it. The tour guide was informative and funny. They use these head phone sets which enable you to hear the guide no matter how far back from them you are. It is
We went there for a brisk evening walk, never expecting the Sun to be very intense. But so it was. Apart from that, this place is very beautiful. There are some restaurants adjacent to the waterfront where people can dine outside. The park is clean a
This is one of the nicest small trails in this region of the Rock Creek Park area. The trail crosses a little creek several times. The forest is pleasant and green, and the walk is fairly easy. The trail ends near the Peirce Mill site in Rock Creek.
Great park away from the busy part of town. Free parking. Great for cycling and running. Kids play structure on the south side. Really enjoyed spending time here during our visit to DC.
Shady respite from the bustle of Connecticut Ave, bountiful birdsong, a few more cicadas in recent days, and friendly neighbors. Several creek crossings - choose your footwear well and bring a camera!
Went sledding here with some friends, inspired by my memories of sledding there during Snowpocalypse when I was at AU. It lived up to my rosy mems and did not disappoint! I would be a little cautious because you gain serious speed, and my friend actu

While I haven't trained at many BJJ schools, my experience at Estilo for the past year and a half has set a high bar in terms of my expectations for how a school should operate. The level of instruction, the variety of activities (expert seminars, in

My daughter - at this point - has only taken two classes but I already know we have lucked out by having such a great environment and team of people to coach her.

What an incredible studio. My wife and I are only in town for the week but so glad we trained here. The instructors are amazing and they have a wonderful gym culture where my we both felt very welcome. Highly recommended.
Iâve been coming here since February of 2022 and love it. Iâve been doing CrossFit since 2007 and have been to many gyms over the years. First, the coaches and staff are extremely friendly and welcoming - whether youâre a newbie, beginner, dr
