Was amazed at the size, decorations & number of people there. Staff was extremely friendly & would take pictures for us!
Beautiful old mansion, finished in 1906. The Brown family kept this mansion until 1973. The guild is extremely informative, and does a 1hr walk through the 20,000 SQ ft home. This is the biggest mansion I've toured!! I highly recommend this tour of your going through Coffeyville, KS or just love architecture!
Absolutely loved this place. The rich history and the passion in this place is unmatched. The tour guide Linda was amazing!
The tour guide, Linda, was an excellent storyteller. She pointed out many features that would not be obvious at first. There was a 6 & 7 year old in our group and she included them in the discussion..... inviting them to feel free to sit on the floor....but not to touch anything else. She was very gracious in the way she treated them and the rest of the party. There are so many interesting artifacts in the mansion. The story of the Browns... even some of the sad parts..was fascinating. The mansion is NOT an activity for the handicapped. There are three floors and a basement. (There is an elevator, but it's well over one hundred years old and ran with the use of a strong butler and a rope!)
Great.. Masquerade Party, was awesome! Loved the entertainments. Plenty of drinks, and snacks.. The Ladies did a wonderful job!
Didn’t go in due to high admission price. Maybe next time. Nice parking lot and good look from the outside.

Brought my family to tour only to be turned away because the tour is not "kid friendly". The owner told us that another museum would be better for our family. She proceeded to tell me how to get to the other museum. I let her know we really wanted to tour the house but she assured me that this was not the tour for us. Big mistake Brown Mansion, we would have loved you.
