One of the best cheap eats spots in Greensboro hidden in an unassuming location. The food is simple, no frills and affordable with an emphasis on sandwiches and salad plates. If you’re after something unique, try the cream cheese and olive sandwich (toasted), trust me! The tuna salad is also great. And surprisingly, there’s a range of kero desserts including a must-try pumpkin cheesecake. Staff are so friendly too!
There's nothing like BG! But just when you think it couldn't get any better than a flat top grilled burger and crinkle fries, they start serving tacos and taco salads with slow-cooked beef on Wednesdays. Honestly, this is the best meal money can buy on a Wednesday at lunchtime. But, like I said, they were doing it right before the tacos, you can't go wrong with a club sandwich or a BLT with a friend chicken fillet added, and they will make your fries or tater tots extra crispy if you just ask! The staff is the best part, they're kind, get to know you, and even know what you're going to order before you can ask! 5/5

Great old fashioned soda fountain counter with lunch plates..sandwiches to burgers to even tacos on special some days. Counter serve is quick and friendly. Don't miss out on the best orangeaid drink in the city.
Our server was very matter of fact..never smiled. Seemed as though she didn't want to be there. Food was good, run of the mill ( in my opinion) counter food. But obviously a lot of people like Brown Gardiner, quite a few came for lunch..I saw a lot of hot dogs being served..🙂
