Was passing through Kanab on our way to Phoenix and were craving some dessert. Decided to stop here after seeing the other ice cream place in town was randomly closed and was not disappointed. Such a cute vibe and was very cozy. The ice cream is more icey than creamy but still delicious. The grilled cheese was super tasty and warm as well.
This isn’t my first review here. Last time I was here the sandwich hadn’t even begun set up. Super stringy super cheesy. They were busy today. I waited about 10 minutes for a Grill cheese sandwich. She thought I had received my meal already. I told her that I had been waiting for a grilled cheese sandwich. It was sitting on the counter next to the Panini machine. I asked how long it had been there and totally offended one of the girls @ the grill (I apologized) valid question…The price is right. I believe, another day would have resulted in a more fresh sandwich.
We stopped in for some grilled cheese and cookies. We had the Popper and the Gourmet and both were very cheesy with the right amount of pull and lots of flavour.
The cookies were soft and delicious.
There’s a mixture of seating including couches, tall tables and patio seating too. Relaxed vibes and very cosy. They have a gift shop here too.
This is my go-to stop on the way to Lake Powell! Their ice cream, grilled cheese, and soups are delicious! The ambiance is well designed, service is friendly and fast, and they have lots of cool souvenirs and things as well.
What's not to like about grilled cheese sandwiches, cookies, ice cream and other amazing sweets?! The Brown Box Bakeshop has them all!! I had a couple of the sandwiches (caprese and turkey/avo/bacon) and both had an other-worldly amount of cheese in them...so good! I was particularly fond of the double-chocolate chip cookies - just the right amount of salty-sweet in them. Sometimes the service can be a bit on the slow side - depends on who's making the sandwiches I guess...but overall, love the place and will make it a point to swing by again if I'm ever passing through Kanab.
Absolutely loved this place. Great spot for picking up food after hiking with some awesome healthy options. Dare I say it, they even have fantastic biodegradable to-go containers that I haven't seen before. Very well thought out place with such good food. The grilled cheeses were delicious and had such a great fusion of flavors (we got the jalapeno one and the one with rosemary. So yummy). The tomato basil soup was fantastic with such a full flavor. The salads were also remarkable and the dressing wasn't overpowering. The cookie and ice cream dessert was remarkable and a better version of a pizooki. The cookie was so fluffy and the ice cream was decadent. Their caramel and chocolate sauce was home made and so flavorful as well. Definitely deserves 5 stars and all my business whenever I come through town again. Service was phenomenal and very friendly as well. Such a great place!
This is such a fun & yummy place! They’re so friendly. The decor is fun & the food was perfect! The menu was very simple: grilled cheese, soups, salads, desserts. We tried the classic grilled cheese, tomato basil soup & the savory salad. Everything was perfect! We definitely want to go back for ice cream!
We were so sad we saved this place for our last night in town. We would have eaten there soooo many times lol! Yummy food at super reasonable prices! Great for lunch or dinner! Don’t miss this when you are in town!
What a fun place. This is a must stop when you are in Kanab. Weekend fun and live music. It has such a cool vibe with local artists and crafts for sale. The food is great and the people are friendly and welcoming. Stay for an hour a night or a w
This restaurant blew us away! Easily the best meal I had anywhere in Utah, and one of the best of my life. Each dish was unique, balanced, fresh, and utterly delicious. The Prickly Pear Margaritas are outrageously good too. If youâre looking for an
Playground is fantastic with shock absorbing rubber mulch, tons of slides and climbing structures all ages of kids want to play on. Swings are fantastic and bathrooms are available on either side of the park. Dogs are not allowed at the park.

A great place to see a whole lot of ducks, mallards and sundry lake life. The city has done a great job of of building a gym/play structure for adults and kids. The lake has fisherman, so if you are up for some patience go for it. There is also a fre
