It's absolutely one of my favorite places to go to dinner. I highly recommend that Prime ribeye or their special seafood dish are definitely my go-to dishes. The bar tenders make great drinks, and they also carry local beers. I highly recommend making a reservation weeks in advance.
Delicious food! Everyone was happy with their dinner. The waiter brought out a nice selection of bread with warm butter. We took a while to decide what to order but he was so patient with our group. The steak was cooked perfectly and melts in your mouth. The orange cheesecake was different but tasty too. The mudslide dessert was another favorite.
We went to the brother's restaurant back in the day when they were at Mattie's Tavern. Their herb biscuits were so delicious, I bought their cookbook, and had a nice chat with one of the brothers (the dinner was great too). Been to Red Barn for lunch a few times over the years, always delicious. Tonight we made the drive up for my birthday dinner. Dinner was amazing and so happy to have the herb biscuits too. Every meal I have had with Brothers has been fantastic. Thank you!

You know it's probably gonna be a good meal when the place smells good as you walk in. Super friendly and efficient service. The waiters worked as a team making sure to help each other out by keeping tables bussed, Bread baskets full and drinks topped off. Even when it was Not their primary table. Everything from the bread and the iced tea to the soup of the day and the entrees to the desert was perfectly prepared. One member of our party ordered steak ... (They have a long history of sending back almost every steak they order)... Not this one! It was perfect. Realty a great place and if we are back in the area we won't miss it! Highest recommendation.
Been coming here when it looked like a actual Red Barn. Wooden picnic tables and bench seats. Enjoyed then...enjoyed now! Food was amazing, great atmosphere our server Matt was top tier. We're from the Bay Area and we make it a point to vist the Brothers Red Barn we vist Solvang
Decent food overall but it could be better considering the price point. The goat cheese stuffed chicken breast was exquisite, and the scallops were cooked to perfection, but the onion soup was barely warm and the Chinese chicken salad was refrigerator cold (shouldn't this at least seem to be prepared fresh?). The wines offerings by the glass disappointed considering the price point, but they have some stylish bottles if you are willing to spring for them. We paid about $100/person. As stated, at that price there shouldn't be so many misses.
We really enjoyed this place. They were exceptionally gracious at accommodating our group of 11. The food took a little bit longer than normal, but in this case I am not concerned as it was exceptionally good. The pulled pork was not overdone and it had a different flavor with the honey. The fish and chips were pretty good and the tartar sauce was spot on. The ribeye steak was done to perfection - you could tell they didnt play with it after getting it on the grill. The kids food was easy and simple and works. The drinks weren't that bad either, although a bit slow, and they have a decent wine selection - think of the location and it makes sense. All in all, this is a surprisingly nice place. There are a.lot of wineries around and solvang isn't far, so this is worth a detour.
