About a decade ago I first started coming to this park with our Black Lab. When he passed it broke my heart so badly that it took until this year for me to finally make peace and allow space in my heart again for another dog. Thus I offer a very unique perspective on this dog park of a before and after. The Broomfield Commons was just okay back in 2010 to 2015. Flash Forward to today and I think the dog park has really really improved. There is a regualy "happy hour" crowd thus far and the park over all is convenient and well kept.

Great dog park. There are separate big and small dog areas and both are huge. There are a few benches and a spot with a hose and water bowls. There are also always a ton of tennis balls that are great for throwing.

Great dog park. They have water during the summer months, two large areas for both small and large dogs, and it's practical a ball-dog's heaven with the plethora of available tennis balls just laying around. For my part, with how long and wide the park is, I can really shoot off some tennis balls quite far across the park to get my dog doing. Frequent flier here, with many more trips in the future.

Big dog park. Over 300ft x 300ft. Dog owners are more responsible here compared to other dog parks - not a lot of poop lying around at all. It's only a year old so when the trees grow taller the dogs will have more shade. The water pump stays on for much longer than other dog parks too. Wasn't turned off until November or December so we had over 9 months of water for the dogs.

Great dog park. Always clean and well maintained. This one features a small dog area and a large dog area. Ground is a sand/gravel mix which does a good job or keeping the smell from urine down. There are trees that are behind fences so they arent damaged but the dogs and still able to provide some measure of shade.

I love this dog park. Lots of space and very popular, so always a lot of dogs. Sometimes on the weekends or holidays, it can get a little overwhelming with the amount of dogs and can be a little chaotic. My dog was injured twice there on weekends so we just stick to week days. But a great park, altogether.

Great spacious park for your dogs to run and have fun in the sun, there's a water spicket with a bowl in both the big dog and little dog side so there is no need to bring water with unless you really want to. There are numerous spots with poop bag dispensers and trashcans. The only problem is the ground. It's made up of all sand no grass or anything. There are some small trees scattered across both sides for shade except it's not very helpful as three or four feet around the base of the tree are blocked with fences. They also have a couple benches under pavilions, but the roofs aren't large enough to provide adequate shade.

WINTER review: we drove a significant distance to try this dog park, and were pleasantly surprised. Two mornings after snow, and it was completely clear. The sand/gravel surface drains well. No icy paths or that hard, chunky snow that gives underfoot to trip up my old doggo; lots of running space for young, energetic doggo. Well behaved dogs to play with and friendly people. Water is shut off for the season, but people bring refillable jugs. Small trees, shade and benches available as well as poop bags.
