Made a last-minute reservation for a stopover while traveling and got a King Suite for ~$150 with a AAA discount. Oddly, the receipt we got the next day said it was ~$110. The card was charged the ~$150 that was quoted and we didn't need to get a reimbursement receipt so it was fine. The building looks like it's been there a bit but the room was fairly recently painted. Almost all the furnishings as well as the flooring appeared to be laminate so easy to keep clean and no disappointments found there. We tried a bagel, English muffin, and juice at the free breakfast but didn't care for any of it so we found a Dunkin' on our way out of town to tide us over 'til lunch. Staff were friendly. Checking in and out was easy. Didn't use the gym or pool. Free parking. Good, basic accommodations for a stopover.
Very fancy looking and clean. I love how even though it's literally right off the highway, it's tucked away and you'll miss it if you're not paying attention. Very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff. Plenty of free and reasonably priced soft and alcoholic drink options, snacks and personal care items available in the lobby so you dont have to leave. Clean pool. Awesome breakfast. Clean and updated rooms and bathrooms with the softest marshmallow cloud bed and pillows ever!!! The fancy shower with the high pressure water just as hot as you want it was absolute heaven!!! I didn't want to get out!
First of all, $236 for two queens and a twin sofa bed is a little steep. It said it sleeps six. It sleeps 5. We had to go buy an air mattress for our sixth person. Our desk person was very helpful and kind. Breakfast was good, but eating it while smelling the cleaner in the mop buckets was not. Our bathroom door would not close unless someone in the room pulled on the top part (it was a sliding barn door). The air conditioner it blew into the side of the bed, not out into the room. Definitely not worth what we paid, especially when it was advertised for $114.
This place was a great place to stay. Rooms were clean and staff, especially Leslie (sp?), was very helpful and accommodating to my needs as well as my family’s. Plenty of parking, I never had an issue finding a spot and they had plenty of those cart things to help with bringing your bags and luggage to the room.
This was our first time staying at Brookstone Lodge. The rooms were spacious and very clean. Everything looked new and fresh. The indoor pool was a nice treat after a day of traveling. Breakfast included cereals, yogurts, fruits, bagels, pastries, toast, eggs, sausage and gravy, coffee/hot chocolate, and waffle irons. I was slightly concerned about the noise next to the highway but we couldn't hear the traffic and slept almost 9 hours. We were about a mile down the road from downtown (highly suggest Wayside Bar and Grill for dinner!!!) Whenever we come back to Asheville, we will lodge here. Staff was very friendly and housekeeping definitely take pride in their work (they were so nice too!)
The bed and pillows were comfy. Hotel seemed clean. Breakfast was average. BUT. In the morning between 7-8 the water was shut off a couple times for over 10 mins each time. My daughter was in the shower with a head full of soap. No warning just no water. I went to desk. “We are doing some testing should be back on soon” ok wouldn’t it be more appropriate to shut the water off AFTER check out. And a man in the elevator told me there was a note in his bed that said “if you are reading this, they didn’t change your sheets either.
Friendly people.
The hallway and first room smelled and felt "wet". Wet is the best way to describe it. They were very nice and let us switch rooms. MUCH BETTER smell.
Sound proofing was just ok. We could hear the neighbors playing music via the bathroom vent.
Sadly both ice machines were out of order.
All and all it was ok. I would try them again.
Positive: easy access to highways and Asheville. Staff was very friendly and accomodating, the entire hotel was excetionally clean Negative: Room was very "hospital like". The coffee was probably the worst coffee that I have had, looked like chemical water and tasted terrible.
Amazing hotel! Loved the history of the buildings, how they were integrated into the design of the hotel. Service was impeccable, champagne at check-in, heaters while waiting for valet, complimentary Tesla to take you downtown, and the Lounge has l

This place is so great. Everything from the indoor fireplace, to the hot tub just outside the bedroom, to the HEATED FLOORS in the bathroom (not to mention heated toilet seat and bidet, even a heated towel rack!) They take it a step (or twelve) furth
Great experience! From first reaching out with general questions, to a quick and easy process of getting signed in to classes. The owner was great with communication. I walked into the 4:30pm class with Coach Donivan and with three years experience m
My wife and I enjoyed a two night stay over the New Years holiday weekend. We very much appreciated the attention given to the suite and the magnificent breakfast presentation each morning.
Our hosts John and Susan were not only attentive but cordial
I was hesitant getting a spray tan because it had been years since I had one! Hannah made me feel very comfortable during the whole process and was a master at what she does. My tan turned out great and made me feel so amazing in family pics! She was
Canât believe I just found this hidden gem not far off of Thompson Street! One of the few coffee shops open at 7 am with a variety of coffee/espresso based drinks, hot cocoa bar, and breakfast tacos.
Got a dirty chai and egg/cheese burrito - both
