Brooklyn Water Bagel - Bagel shop in Lady Lake - 514 N US-441, USA

My family and I have loved Brooklyn Water Bagel for years but after today's visit I have to ask...what has happened to this place?!! The bagels are not the same at all! Ordered 6 garlic bagels to go and every one of them were a different color, shape, and size. They are full of holes. It was also a bit disturbing when I saw someone in the kitchen ask the cashier to get him baskets from the dining room and when she brought them back to him he put them right on the line and filled them up without washing them. Please don't respond back like in the other reviews saying I should have let management know because it was the manager that did it!! Very disappointed!!

We come here often and love their bagels. However if you order a sandwich they barely put enough meat on them to even taste. It was basically a tomato sandwich. Definitely nothing like the pictures on the menu.

My wife wanted fresh bakery bagels to buy. We took a road trip. No disappointments! They are made on the premises. Assorted muffins & cookies, variety of coffee,soda,juice drinks. Everything was fresh & good. Also serve bagel sandwiches. The place is busy but service was prompt & correct. Another shopping plaza gem.

We tried Brooklyn Water Bagels for the first time this morning and were thoroughly impressed. Their breakfast bagel creations were just delightful The coffee was really good as well. The ladies behind the counter were, quick and friendly. Highly recommend!

Three of us arrived at around 2:30 pm. The bagel making machine was already off which is understandable. Ordering was fine and food was brought to our table. We all ordered different items and I ordered one to go. I was on a wheelchair due to foot surgery. Food was delicious and abundant. Ice machine for coffee was not working so we improvised. The only issue we had were 2 employees that started the closing process, while we were eating, were very loud!. Why? They were next to each other next to the coffee machines? We were not loud but had to stop talking a few times. They were not rushing us, they told us so. Will go again before 2:30 pm.

I grew up in Virginia eating water Bagels as a kid. The ones I grew up with, the outer part of the Bagel, had kind of a snap when you bit into it... loved it. These don't have that snap. These are similar to that, however not the same, but still good Bagels.

Finally found a local place that serves great tasting bagels. Today hubby had an onion bagel and freshly made vegetable cream cheese. The cream cheese was mouth watering. I had the egg, bacon, sausage on a sesame bagel. It was so yummy and too big to eat in one sitting. Amazed at the cafe with the variety of coffee, drinks and even milk. My daughter who will only drink almond milk would have been delighted. Cafe. Clean and laid out to be functional. Outdoor seating is available. Service was great. We took 6 bagels home with us and the cinnamon bagels are delightful. Needed to savor the freshness and the memory of living in the north. A++ will return with no hesitation!

I came in, excited because they had Taylor Ham, so I ordered the Jersey Boy. It seemed like forever to get my order, when it finally arrived it was completely wrong. The staff fixed my order and prepared my Jersey Boy as I had ordered. I was disappointed to find that they don't grill the Taylor Ham like they do in Jersey, instead they just heat it in the microwave. Grilling the meat brings out the flavor of the Taylor Ham. I won't order it again, but I will come back for just bagels.
