I really wanted to love this place but I had a horrible experience. I’m a food blogger and was hesitant to post the review on TikTok. My family was craving bar food on a Friday night. Many bars in the area don’t let children in after a certain time so we picked this place. First off, I had to ASK for silverware. The food here is not fresh. Everything seems frozen. My chicken on my salad was not fresh. It definitely lacked a lot of flavor. The wet napkins are dry. The water had no ice. The bacon on my daughter’s burger tasted old. This place really ruined our family date night.
Huge food menu paired with a ton of beers on draft, tons of TVs and a cool patio. This is a local bar you want to come to for any kind of sporting event, the service is quick and everything we've had is good. Max n cheese was HUGE and so good, smashed burger was great with merkts, their wings are also very good. Can't go wrong with anything your order here
Great atmosphere. The smoked wings were absolutely delicious and I loved the house-made buffalo sauce. The service was incredible and friendly and made me feel very welcome. Plus the decor and atmosphere was very fun and inviting!
Update: back for brunch. Thought i was having $9 sunday bloody mary but the up charge for grey goose made it a $17 drink. Would have been nice to be told the upcharge would double the cost!! Had a fantastic experience at Broken Barrel for breakfast as the start to the day of my bachelor party activities! Great environment, and atmosphere. Food was excellent all around with no disappointments. Staff were inviting and friendly. Had good conversations with Luke, the owner, as he was very engaging with my party of 10. And didn't seem to mind the laugher decibel levels our group reached. The establishment is beautiful and big! Shout out to Monique for her help. Will definitely go back and may even try one of the themed air bnb rooms in the future.
This is very much a Notre Dame bar and for that alone I love it (Go Irish!). I’ve been for a game watch and also just to eat some good food. Their nachos are great and they have a happy hour deal for them on Tuesday. The tacos are also really tasty. Their patio area in the back is super pretty and a great place to hangout and have a drink on a warm day.
Wings are smoked to start, then for an upcharge grilled to finish. Good deal on Wednesdays. Broken Barrel wing sauces and rubs are tasty, but I opt for none so I can take some home for the weekend: they reheat well in the oven and toss with my own sauces. Memmo is a keen bartender.
Tried to plan a birthday party here and apparently they don't want our business. Their website says they're walk in, but that large parties can be reserved by contract. I submitted 2 inquiries online, asked their google chat bot, emailed them, and called and left a message with a live person for someone to call me back...and they never returned my call. Oh well, guess we'll go somewhere else and spend our money.
To me "drink responsibly" means don't spill itttttt!!!!!! Broken Barrel Bar is amazing. The STAFF is wonderful, the drinks are nothing short of amazing and the FOOD just perfect. The perfect place to meet up with friends, take the family for a bite, date night or whatever excuse you have to come to Broken Barrel Bar just go!!!!
