it's cozy for a local spot. probably won't add it to my list of places to visit next time I'm back. busy enough to get a spot at the bar to eat. they have local beers on tap. the food wasn't spectacular to make the location stand out. just wasn't memorable enough to recommend to others. garlic bread was even a little burnt.
Listening to my one and only MR.Patrick Motto acoustic! Awesome food and staff. They know how to take care of their customers !!!
Broken Axe Brew House is such an incredible place. The environment is cool. The staff is friendly! And they have an amazing beer selection! Definitely stop by - grab a drink and something to eat - and enjoy your time.
Was in town for a race at Hyner View. They were very busy when our party of 4 walked in. They asked if we minded sitting at the bar which was great for us. All beers on tap are from PA. Great selection of beers and also ciders. The food was amazing and a wide variety of food for different dietary needs. Even though they were very busy the staff was very kind and never once seemed like it was a problem to answer a question or talk for a quick minute. Amazing place. If you are in town definitely stop by.
Broken Axe Brew Pub has the atmosphere of the old neighborhood, corner bar/tavern. You can tell they pay homage to the blue-collar origins of Lock Haven with the decor throughout. Service is great, Meghan was very friendly and was able to make great spirits recommendations for our cocktails. Food was great! Apple Pie Creme Brulee for dessert was delicious! If you find yourself in downtown Lock Haven some evening, I'd recommend checking out Broken Axe Brew House.
What a delightful surprise to see this was about three steps from the best western. Great ambiance. Tried a few beers. Excellent. Two thumbs way up
This was a take out order. The worst burger I’ve had. Well done, not what I ordered. They claim their beef is 90-10. Definitely not, is was like chewing on gristle. Two bites and I tossed it. $16 burger w/chips.
This was out first time back since the beginning of covid, the pesto fries haven't changed....that's a good thing. I had there Greek gyro sandwich and to be honest the meet tasted like taco meet also had one of their cold brew nitro cocktails the mudslide ...it wasn't really that good...the fries I had as the side for my sandwich was really tasty bacon and beer cheese ....

All our burgers were delicious! The âChive Onâ was the winner. Fries & bacon were nice & crispy. I recommend trying a side of the âodd sauceâ for dipping! My wild burger was great, quite spicy ð¶ï¸ My only issue is they do not have tap wat
Unforgettable trip, because I passed by here on the trip, I didn't make an appointment in advance (according to the current opening policy of the museum, you need to make an appointment in advance), as a student pilot, this place is sacred. The plan
