Great access for fishing! A couple hours on each of two days, caught, photographed and released several Rainbows each day!
My whole family loves this place . Pretty easy walk with creek views
Grate place to go BBQ with the family, you can’t bring your own grill but they have at the park along with some picnic tables. They charge $10 per adult for entrance. The river isn’t deep which is good if you have kids the water was cold around this time 🥶 tho
Very nice park. It has trails to hike on and fields to play in, as well as pavilions that can be reserved. The creek is lovely.
This is a nice, clean park. We go there to walk. Some people take their dogs for a swim in the creek. There is no playground equipment, but there are pavilions and grassy areas.
We love visiting PA and always visit national parks and local areas to enjoy the natural Treasures. We enjoyed Brodhead Creek Park as much as others in the neighborhood. We stopped by Pinebrook Park around 1pm, but it was full. The very polite gentleman at the gate recommended that we drive up about mile to Brodhead and told us that if it's full, we may be able to go in as long as we don't plan to picnic. He also said that fee was $10.00 per vehicle. As we arrived to the gate, parking was half empty. I politely greeted the man at the gate. The gentleman at the gate with a blank and judgemental expression stared us. I asked politely, it's $10.00 right? He rudely rested his elbows and stuck his head in the window, invading our privacy...and said "it's $10 per person." One would consider this a Threat, and subject to retaliation, but I did not react, because of my Pregnant wife sitting on the passenger side. Nor did I challenge the fee, because it wasn't worth it. He asked firmly how long you gonna be here? I replied that we are probably going to stay less than an hr. He then accepted our $10.00 and said "then you are fine," claiming to do us a favor by accepting only that amount for having 3 adults and a child in the car. After an hr we took off. We waved goodbye at the gate, and that man did not change his face or a muscle...just an eye contact. We weren't disappointed, just sad. This treatment is something you see in a third world country. As a Veteran, we are ashamed of the Disgraceful quality of service we are providing to the visitors. I do want to thank the others who take pride in what they do. I hope to see services getting better in the future. Although, we had an amazing time with the nature, the stream and happy people in the park.
Very nice and beautiful park with really long hiking trails and plenty of picnic places.

Mt. Nebo is one of our favorite parks! A short hike to and from the pristine lake. A 1 mile Blue Trail. A 2 mile Yellow trail. Both well marked and moderately easy. Dogs should always be on leash.
Culinary gem from Ecuador. I stopped by twice and the food is delicious - specially after a hike in the Poconos across the river in New Jersey. It is a family owned restaurant run by a couple. Very homely atmosphere and tastefully decorated. Having

We visited the Preserve with the Pocono Heritage Land Trust. Our guide, Don Miller, was terrific! His involvement with the 1,000 acre preserve over the last 50 years was on display as he pointed out the details of the bog and its upland components. H

Primos, Khans, Big Lots, Advance Auto, Rent A Center, and Goodwill are pretty much it. CVS, OTB, Subway, and many other businesses are gone. There is plenty of parking for sure. Primos has good food, and if you know about beef patties with coco bread
Had the Filet Mignon with vegetables and loaded baked potato for my main meal and I also had the French Onion Soup, a side salad, and bacon wrapped sea scallops for starters and they were all very good. Awesome place to go for celebrating an event o
