Broadway National Historic District - Historical landmark in Rock Island - 7th Ave, USA

Good place to live I love it here and can't get tired of the views all over and especially of the river bottom ....

I did a walking tour of the area, so I learned a lot about the original owners, renovations and history. Even walking on your own, the homes are impressive and the architecture is stunning.

Beautiful Victorian homes in this historic area! Like a step back in time! I would love to see this whole district restored completely and perhaps become an actual historic district! I think that homeowners here should get grants to help them preserve these gems as mine as possible. It would be nice to see landlords not be able to purchase these homes as many have turned them into apartments. Broadway has the potential to become a national treasure!

Love love love this whole area!!! We walk our dog through our neighborhoods and I feel like I'm in a book or time capsule! Neighbors are nice and look out for each other and you feel like you're in a community of like minded people who love history. Every time I look around I am always noticing something new and beautiful. It's gorgeous and magical in all seasons. Very fun to raise a family here.

Grew up in the neighborhood, went to Lincoln grade school . Brings back alot of memories when I drive through there just about every day...

This district is a lovely place to live but I did notice that there was several abandoned properties that can be fixed up and revived for productivity I think for the person that's seriously interested in the rehab of these properties should receive a first-class approval letter with the backing of the necessary resources and assistance to complete the job it will make a great asset to grow with in your future....

Just took a nice ride through historic Davenport Iowa.
