One of the best Indy farmer's markets.
Large assortment of local vendors selling organic vegetables, fruits, honey, delicious breakfast items, pies, dips, local coffee, sweet treats, breads and pasta plus live music!
Lots of nearby free parking options. Dog & stroller friendly.
Amazing produce and food vendors! Also one of the best places to take your dog and get your knives sharpened & repaired! In October the starting date goes back an hour & in November it goes indoors until Spring!
This particular farmers market is enormous! But I still felt myself wanting more. Although there was music, some food and a covered pavilion to sit and eat in the shade, it would be really nice to incorporate some additional activities for kids… bubbles, chalk, face painting, or even just a handful of booths geared more toward them. I also feel like there’s still a ton of open space left being unused. Plenty of room for more tents, food trucks, tables with chairs and umbrellas, etc. I personally went for hanging plants but didn’t find any.
By far, the best farmer’s market in Indianapolis! Downtown’s market must have moved here because all the great businesses are here. We love coming to farmer’s markets for the food but what more important is the conversations we have with the vendors. We will keep coming back here.
Today I Today I tried the breakfast pupusas, they are very tasty, but also, the weather, the people, the doggies, too much excellent.
Great selection of vendors including food to eat on site (tables and chairs provided) while you listen to music.
A little small, but was fun. UPDATE AFTER RESPONSE FROM VENDOR: I appreciate your comment, but it was It was definitely small - regardless of your statement. Maybe it's early in the year and will become larger later? There were LOTS of food vendors, but a small amount of actual booths with businesses. A lot of empty spaces, too. Don't try sugar-coating a response to me to make yourself look better- I know what I saw when I was there and it was small. I enjoyed myself for the half hour I was there.
Very well designed outdoor market, with plenty of space, a descent number of vendors, and a large parking area.
