Stellar in every way. Food was perfect, service was perfect, drinks were wonderful, atmosphere was very relaxed and welcoming and everything was extremely clean. Probably the best overall dining experience we've had in years. Can't wait to come back. A+++
I have reviewed before and I'll do it again. Peter curates an incredible experience in this small, lovely restaurant. The food is always good, and yet every time I try something new I am pleasantly surprised to find it delicious, interesting, and carefully made. Hats off to the chef, Matt, once again for an excellent experience last night.
We’re only in the area once or twice a year, but this has been on the list for a while. We’re so glad we went!!! We went within a half hour of opening because we were on a time constraint and we heard so many great things that we wanted to take our time. Unfortunately the menu was down (online only) for the first 30 min but the knowledgeable staff quickly helped us find exactly what we wanted to drink (a top shelf whiskey and a glass of red wine). The menu issue was resolved in short order and we order food— bar olives, meatballs, baked Brie, vegetable flat bread and the steak. The bar olives were yummy! The meatballs were perfect- moist but meaty in a fresh, no frills tomato sauce. Exactly what you want to highlight the meat ball. The baked Brie was perfect but then that’s my favorite cheese, soooo no complaints… I didn’t get a taste of the flat bread so you know it must be good and the steak was so delicious I almost didn’t share despite all my promises to and my stomach was so full from all the other food! We will definitely be returning when we’re back in the area! Thank you, Brix Bistro!!!
The scallop po’ boy had more scallops than most lobster rolls have lobster! Spicy and delicious. The cauliflower app was perfect- the fresh mint was a nice touch. Baked Brie was incredible. Reasonable prices for reasonable portions. Small space with a great atmosphere and good vibes. 10/10 would recommend
Nice, cozy place! Owner is super personable and has a great chef. Food was excellent and service was fast despite being packed. Would definitely visit again if I’m ever back in town!
I had a great experience popping in for a glass of wine, which turned into a few more and a delicious dinner special of curry chicken. Peter knows his stuff about the wine and cocktails they serve and went above and beyond to create a great guest experience. I would recommend this spot for a stop in, and the locals seen to recommend it as a frequent destination.
Highly recommend this place for a great place to mingle, meet and laugh with your party. The food is great with a a variety of flavors and spice. The service was supreme and Pete was a delightful host.
We came here for dinner after reading the good reviews, then everything went south from there. Ordered the flatbread as in the picture, which was actually not bad. The problem was with the steak, which not only tastes like rubber, but stints! It literally smells rotten, and easily the worst food I've ever eaten in my entire life. The host did take it off our bill, so 5 star for the service, but zero star for the food. Will never be back again.
We enjoy lunch here on a regular basis. The food, staff and atmosphere are all outstanding. The prices are reasonable. Parking can be tricky depending on what else is going on downtown. They have a small gift store off the side where they sell th
The food was great even comparing with some of the fine dining restaurants in NYC. We had Cheese Fondue and PEI Mussels for appetizers (they are my favorite). Cod and Ribeyes for entrees. Will definitely be back when we are in town.
If you want a classic sandwich shop feel, this is THE place. A lovely family run business with amazing sandwiches. Everyone is so friendly and the vibes are fabulous. I HIGHLY recommend getting a bite here. The sandwiches are hearty and as one of my
I love this shop! Just moved up from CT and Iâm happy to live very close. Thereâs a great mix of items and nothing I saw was unfairly priced. They have great furniture for very reasonable prices too, which is never the case at shops like this. Iâ
Such a beautiful place, and everybody is so friendly and helpful! I brought family with a walker, and they went out of their way to help her to her seat and make sure she was comfortable! And the presentation of Nutcracker was amazing! This was my
Inexpensive and incredible. Kids can experiment with all sorts of jobs, okay games, do crafts, and itâs inexpensive! Thereâs a snack and cubby area, as well as diapers in the bathrooms if you forgot!
Great place for local farmers market items in the middle of the week. Bulk foods are reasonably priced. And they have Vermont made kefirs! Herbal tinctures. Fresh produce, kombucha on tap, sandwiches, huge teas selection, honey and organic agave syru
I have visited Gill's Delicatessen twice now and I have been a satisfied diner on both occasions. This unpretentious establishment does what it does well and has no need to pretend to be anything else. The dining space is comfortable, but in an expe
As expected anything to do with or by Vermont Country Store is high quality! Their items are not seconds but regular items which did not sell due to over stocking, seasonal change, etc.

It was a spur of the moment decision after another hotel didn't take my Chime card, and it was by far one of the best hotels I've been in. It was quiet, everyone was nice, they had an elevator right by the side door. The breakfast in the morning was
Sunday night is our date night, we're in the restaurant business too. The crew at Taco Fresco is top notch, friendly and fun. We love to sit at the bar. Kathy takes great care of us and makes the best margaritas! No bottled sour mix here. We had a bu
