I feel impartial. I ordered water, no ice, and the fish and chips. I got one piece of fish and 16 fries (like wide cut). The menu says you get (4) pieces? Secondly, there was a bizarre cash transaction occurring between the owner and the man sitting behind me with headphones and coughing. What was weird is that the man appeared to be taking pictures of me with his iPhone. Thirdly, my water smelled of a chemical. I felt nauseous and bloated after eating. I will not be coming back to this restaurant. (Update: January 18, 2024) The Chemical Assessment has yeided the following. #DIETHYLSTILBESTROL #BENPERIDOL #LEUPROLIDE ACETATE #CRYSTALLINE METALLOID ARSENIC The list of symptoms/side effects goes on and is consistent in many states. Thus, a pattern emerged. Obviously, it was not authorized and is being forced on me. This is also known as "compulsory sterilization" and/or a way to induce serious heath complications (e.g. cancer.) It will not show up in a traditional drug test. And yes, you can induce cancer in people in as little as 5 months through constant exposure and dosage (primarily wearing down/exhausting the immune system [lower the white cell count either through chemicals/poison or radiation exposure]) It requires a dosage to maintain effectiveness; so if symptomology is similar, stay hydrated; take a picture of who served you, leave a review, and file a complaint.
A special place for locals. We're always treated like royalty! Great food and drinks, beautiful beach and sunset views and the staff are fantastic!
Some of the best fish and chips I've had. Batter is amazing, fish is moist, and the pieces are huge. The chips (steak fries) are crispy, as any fry should be. The staff are super friendly and make you feel welcome. This place is definitely a must visit when I'm in Capitola.

I cannot express enough how much I enjoy coming to Capitola and to the Britannia Arms every time 😊 Being Scottish and always living away from home, it’s nice to find places that make you feel so welcome and connected to your homeland. Big shout out to Irene as well for being the nicest Irish lady I’ve met outside of Ireland. Your hugs are awesome ❤️
Wow! We happened upon as close to possible traditional British pub next to the beach in Capitola. Fantastic menu, great to have a Strongbow on tap! Our server was super fun and made our special day together even more fun!
