Brim is my favorite fast casual place in the Twin Cities by far! Their food is absolutely delicious and some of the only restaurant food that makes me feel GOOD after eating it (because they’re seed-oil-free, gluten-free, organic, and locally sourced). I am obsessed with all their bowls and their chicken and fish are some of the best I've had. You also can't go wrong with their sandwiches or desserts that are healthier than most and unbeatably delicious. I may sound dramatic but Brim is truly this good! I have also ordered their custom cakes for special events and they can adjust to pretty much any diet (and again delicious).
BRIM is a rare gem in the Twin Cities, offering a fully gluten-free menu (you’ll find them at the MN State Fair as well, their booth is a popular stop). The restaurant menu includes baked goods, smoothies, sandwiches, brunch items & bowls. Everything I’ve had at BRIM is delicious - they use fresh, high quality ingredients - I highly recommend trying one of their signature bowl! Follow them on Instagram to hear about their weekend cake offerings. The restaurant is on the small side so keep that in mind if stopping with a group.
The hummus platter was worth coming back for! They have vegan / none vegan items so that’s easy to have something for everyone. I ordered a smoothie and they never brought it out when I asked about it she told me she’d check and never came back to tell me anything about it. I checked and was not charged for it but I feel like she could have let me know.
The food is just “ok.” Most of the menu is vegetarian, but not vegan, which could be rectified by not adding eggs or dairy to every item. The smoothies are great, though… but no better than can be found at most healthy/smoothie shops. When I asked “what is vegan “, i was told anything with a “V”… she also referred to an item with eggs as vegan, so additional training of the counter staff to understand the difference between vegan and vegetarian would be helpful. There is a small dog-friendly patio 😎
Every single item was amazing. The chicken mercado had a nice smattering of salad items in it and I like hefty portions but even I was unable to finish the large option. Next time it'll be the small version. The matcha latte and the almond butter cookie was one of the best cookies I have ever had. Kudos to the chef. Go! Enjoy!
Fantastic ambiance and food! But its hard to park close by. You’re best off just finding the nearest spot and doing some walking, cuz its a pretty area either way. The food/format is like a mix between table service and a Chipotle style line. Its a very quick-serve place. The food options are healthy and taste quite fresh. Prices are higher than Chipotle on average (15 or 17 for a bowl without add ons, e.g). So if you’re looking to spend that premium for higher quality and more mix/match options, this is for you!
Brim is definitely slipping. It used to be our favorite date spot, but recently the food quality is getting pretty bad. Our sandwich bread was completely in pieces upon receiving the order (which has never been an issue in the past) and the meat was undercooked. The $8 "Slice of Cake" (which is pictured and advertised as a slice of cake for $8) was a single tiny cupcake. $8 for a tiny cupcake... When asked, the staff said that they "switched the cake to cupcakes this week". Which would be totally fine if they updated the price and advertised it as such. Upon trying to eat it, we found a long hair baked in and another stuck to the side. We also ordered the Poke Bowl, which was great, but were disappointed that most of our meal was inedible.
The Linda’s included a piece of salmon seared to perfection. The salmon was definitely the star of the bowl. The rest of the bowl was mediocre, mostly because the lemon dill dressing that it came with did not jive well with the greens and left the whole bowl pretty tasteless. The green tea matcha with oat milk that was unremarkable. I also had an almond butter chocolate chip cherry cookie that was delicious but very crumbly.
First time visiting Tomâs and I had such a good experience. Tatz & Chy took care of my friends and Iâhands down, best bartenders downtown. Love them so much! Drinks were good and food on point. I donât watch sports but the atmosphere makes it w

I've been here a handful of times for their coursed menu and most recently the offerings were delicious. From the parsnip soup to the fried gnocchi, and then the black cod which had the crispiest skin I've ever tasted on a fish combined with melt in
Came here for the first time and absolutely loved it! I think this place might be my new favorite place. Itâs a cute small area that allows you to take your order to go but they have a small cute patio seating as well allowing you to order in. Ever
