Brigadoon Park was one of my favorite places to go after school. I went to Montgomery Elementary School and lived down the street so I would stop and play on my way home. It was the concrete slides that I loved the most, they were scary and fun all at the same time. This was back in the early 80's and to see that it is still a place where kids enjoy is heartwarming. I am 50yrs old now and Brigadoon Park is still one of my happiest life memories.
Beautiful park. Visited under really sad circumstances and was at night so I couldn't see much. Attended a candlelight memorial for a friend. It was a nice place to be held. R.I.P., Baby girl and condolences to family and friend's. 🙏🏿❤😭
Parking in the streets. 3 concrete slides which are very steep. You must use cardboard to slide. Lots of swings. The park was a little bit dirty with many papers and trashes on the ground. It is a nice park but not the greatest around. There is 5 tables to eat and no restroom.
Intimidating concrete slides for my grandkids. It took two visits to actually try it. I was more afraid then they were.
We spent a couple of hours there. There isn’t a bathroom so make sure they go before leaving home. Bring bandages for the little scratches they might get. Bring cardboards for their bottoms. It’s a much smoother slide down the concrete. Also lots of water and some snacks. Hats, because there isn’t any shades by the playground. The playground structures is nice for two year olds. Their is swing sets available for babies and older kids.
A great place for energetic toddlers, and above.
If you’re a fan of grilling, there are several available. It’s clean and safe area. I wouldn’t hesitate to take my grandkids back.
Nice park. It's a big park. Has 2 Concrete Slides.
This park was smaller than I thought. Those cement slides look too dangerous for anyone... but probably fun for adventurous types.
Nice playground on bottom of the slides... kids there looked to enjoy the playground.
Bring cardboard to go extra fast on the slides!
Concrete slides in the hillside are uneque and fun. Next time I'll wear clothes I don't mind destroying though as I'm sure my jeans lost a month of life each time I went down.
Love it here! The playground is not big, but lots of grass.
Looking for a great place to take the road less traveled? Try this park, it is fantastic. Plenty of sandy trails to take a casual walk or jog and no bicycles are allowed. Look at the map photo for the relative size and circular walking paths. The rea
After so much of rain in winter 2023, the lake is so beautiful and full of water. Everything is blooming, the trees, plants, even weeds. Many ducks, swans, as well as several ducklings. Few sections along the trail south of Hellyer Park are still flo
Lovely playground for older kids. Has a basketball court too. Lush green grass and a little hill one can roll down. Beautiful picnic benches beneath trees. A very peaceful and pleasant spot to hang out for families and friends overall.
This has become our go-to for mountain biking in the Bay Area. Good for hikes or biking and trails are for the most part are kids friendly. You just have to be careful is blind corners for safety when the bikers are out.
The park hours of operation have changed. It is now open until 630 p.m. in the Summer! Also, a lot of new additions are complete. There is now a bathroom and other amenities that have been added to the park including a new campfire type area where p
First time visiting this park from Out of town. Beautiful lovely park for all ages. Full of little kids and older kids playground structures. The slides are fast and fun. The ground is clean and lots of wide open space to run around. Highly recommend
This park covers a huge area! There are lots of green spaces with nice walking/biking paths throughout as well as a baseball field, basketball courts, tennis courts, sand volleyball court, and BMX park. There are two main playground structures, one f
This park is our usual spot when we need a break from it all. Itâs such a chill place with a really nice lake, perfect for zoning out and relaxing. The park has this calm vibe thatâs just right for a quiet walk or just sitting back and enjoying t
This is a great park in Almaden. It's pretty shaded so good park to hit up when it's a hot day, even if there is not a water feature. Two separate playgrounds, one for the older and younger kids, although the one for the Littles is pretty big and h
Dropped in to CrossFit Silicon Valley twice during the week I was in the area. Coaches and members were welcoming and engaged. I recommend giving this gym a try. I will be back the next time I am in the area.
This place is such a gem! The food is incredible, atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. The pepperoni flatbread with hot honey is really something else. And after a couple visits, honestly I could say the same about everything else we've tried. The owner
My son - 12yo junior hockey player, joined VSS 2 months ago with his team mateâs recommendation. The goal was to improve the strength and speed on the ice, and I already see his progress, that proves the efficiency and effectiveness of this program
