We needed a last minute place to sleep after a mess up at another hotel. They had room. Easy to find. Parking was convenient. Room was typical hotel room. Bed was really soft and has worn spots in the places people lay which was uncomfortable. The shower was the smallest I have ever seen, couldn’t even turn around. It was decently clean. Quiet.

Hotel room was clean. Bed comfortable.|Wish they let us check in a little earlier since we arrived airport early.|I m pretty sure there were rooms ready before 3 pm. And no breakfast since Covid? Or never offered? This isn’t cheap hotel plus no restaurants around here open on Sunday even for breakfast till 9 am( one sm coffe shop nearby with old packaged pastries)on the menus.|Hotel front has some snacks and drinks with high prices. But nothing I wanted to eat.

We arrived around 10 pm after a long travel day on the train with 16 people. We booked our rooms over 6 months ago only to find out when we got to our hotel 2 of our rooms were out of order and they could not accommodate all of us. After 30+ min waiting with 16 people (8 kids) they were able to rebook us at a different hotel. They only bright spot was Brandon the shuttle driver who was helpful in transporting from the train to the hotel, and helped with transportation from the hotel to our new hotel, helping us load and unload our 24 bags.

Very cordial employees. The rooms are dated, though (drop down ceilings, no fan in bathroom, room looks like "how can we put lipstick on this pig" type of approach) but really no complaints. Right on the Chena River and at the edge of downtown so walking to restaurants etc. is easy enough.

Staff were nice and lobby ambience pleasant. Laundry is convenient. Hallway and room rugs were dirty, window AC moldy and bathroom ceiling moldy with dusty shelf. Web site and WiFi log in site highlight breakfast-there isn’t any. There is also not fitness facility. Outside needs attention to detail on neatness. I feel bad our Air Force personnel have to stay there. Pickings are slim in Fairbanks but I won’t be back to this Wyndham.

What hotel experience ever. My husband and I travel for a living. We have never had this experience. We checked in on a Friday and upon checking in extended our stay until Monday morning instead of the original Sunday morning. We are from Florida and had some morning business on the east coast to attend too at 9am, 5am here. So we were up at 430am back in bed by 10am and at 1045 a very rude front desk woman woke us up telling us we needed to get out of the room in 12 minutes. Specifically. I asked her did she not see we had already booked the room an extra day two days ago and confused and still rude she was able to find that we had in fact extended but told us it wasn’t her problem the person who checked us in didn’t do the reservation right and the room was sold to someone. If we wanted to stay we would have to be out of the room in 12 minutes and start a new reservation at a different rate and in a different room. So completely unpacked, undressed and half asked I have this woman telling me if we aren’t out of the room she is going to have us escorted off the property. Unless we want to come down stairs pay a different rate and move into another room. This all after there was a sort band aid in the shower when we got there and dried blood on our pillow case. And now we feel like we are being treated as trespassers by a very rude from desk woman who is all of 18 years old and has no idea when or if a manager would be available at all that day to discuss why we were being told to leave a room we had been in for two days and had paid for. Needless to say we found a different hotel that was cheaper 10 times nicer and clean 3 miles down the street. You couldn’t pay me to stay there again and that woman at the front desk is beyond rude. Again in all our travels we have never experienced something like this. We went to Rivers Edge Resort who accommodated us with an early check in due to literally being kicked out due to their the negligence of the staff at Bridgewater (sorta. I wasn’t going to stay another minute there anyway) room was 4 times the size, cheaper, better amenities and a garden to hang out outside. I recommend ANYWHERE but this hotel.

Check in staff were very nice. Great location and for the most part it was a place to sleep and shower. But as the pictures depict the place needs work. Who would put someone in a room with bath floor tiles missing. Also note the obvious stain in the hallway. I’m not picky but come on management, fix the obvious. The afternoon before were booked the shuttle to the train station. The girl was super nice and said we were first on the list and to be down 10 minutes to 7am. So we were down the next day at 10 of; and then the girl (Aleta) on that days shift said the shuttle was full so she booked us a lift that would be there by 7am. No problem. A few minutes to 7 it dawned on me to ask for the make and color of the car that would pick us up, so I asked and Aleta said she did not know. I then said I thought you said they were coming for 7. Then she started to raise her voice “AT” me like I did something wrong. I then asked why we were bumped as we were the first on the list. She got even louder. I said why are you being rude. And she got louder. I asked for her name and said I would do a review and she said loudly to do it and there are cameras. Well I hope management has reviewed the tapes. And I hope management gets their staff some training on customer interactions. As well as rectifying the property issues. I would not expect this from a Wyndham property. We will not be staying there or at any Wyndham property again. Btw we were there for the Golden Day parade 2024.

It's pretty bad when the people in the room next to you can hear your TV better than you can. So, poor sound insulation. Seems they cut corners when remodeling, typical Alaska BS. Additionally, very few wall sockets available in the rooms. Another hallmark of low effort. I don't expect the world, just a place to sleep and recharge my damned phone.

Great place to stay! Location is the best, right next to the downtown park. We went for a walk at the park and across the river. Gorgeous views. Definitely worth spending the little bit of extra $$ to stay here!

The rooms were clean and beautiful. The bed and pillows were soft and comfortable. The shower pressure was bad and the breakfast options could have been better. The Lady at the front desk was very helpful. The location was fantastic- close to walmart

So the rooms were very spacious but definitely a bit dated. They have baseboard heat that wasn't working properly so the room was pretty cold the first night. The customer Service was great, they immediately sent someone up to look at it and he could
