This place is awesome! Delicious coffee and a super welcoming environment. 10/10 recommend this as a spot for LGBTQ+ folks and ally’s in the area. I had the cold brew with sweet foam and it was delicious. Also recommend the pumpkin pie special. Extra bonus points for golden girls on the projector!
I worked here for a while before buying something, and it was not a problem! I had to move for a Girls Rock Phoenix open mic night but it was so worth and awesome!!

Wonderful morning spent at Brick Road Coffee. This LGBTQ+ owned bar is filled with books and arts celebrating the Queer community. It truly fills like a safe haven from the moment you walk in. They have tons of events from a banned book club to voter registration. As for the coffee shop experience, the baristas were incredible! It was packed and they didn't skip a beat; amazing service. The chai latte was great and the vegan coffee cake was deliciously sweet. BRC is your adorable neighborhood coffee shop that allows everyone to be their authentic selfs and Tempe is lucky to have them.
This coffee shop focuses on being welcoming to everyone. First thing you notice when you walk towards the door is the beautiful rainbow birds on the sidewalk and throughout the coffee shop.
Signage clearly states that everyone is welcome here. There's a great menu of coffee and a variety of snacks and other beverages available. Staff are always friendly and it has a great vibe.
This is a pretty popular place and it can be difficult to find a table to sit.

They have one of the best spiced chai concentrates I've ever had and always get my super specific order correct! Their sticker displays and little shoppable area feature local artists and it feels like they strive to make the atmosphere warm and inclusive. (They also always have Golden Girls playing in a cozy corner of the store, which is funny and awesome)
Baristas are incredible, they always welcome people in with a smile, wave, or "hello!/ good morning/ etc." I also love their late-night cafe hours.
Overall, they are one of-- if not THE-- best cafe(s) I've ever been to. ☕✨
The staff and owners make you feel like family while giving you a first rate cup of coffee (or whatever else you order). Jesse and Gabe's dedication to the community should be the model for any successful business. Truly a bright spot in Tempe.
Such a perfectly lovely, queer safe haven. 🥰 Not only is the atmosphere wonderful there, the drinks and food are super tasty. Plus, they've got so much cute queer merch (shirts, stickers, cups, thermos), a nice little library, and usually have a movie playing on the wall. Overall an incredible little spot!
I like the vibe of this place and the decor, i heard a story about how this business was threatened or something for their pride flags, so i wanted to support them. Service wasn't great honestly, I was ordering with my mom who is ESL and a bit slow, the barista had zero patience and kindness with her and it honestly came off mean spirited. Its whatever, what matters most to me was the coffee.
We ordered three drinks, all three were far too sweet, the coffee itself was good but all the syrup they added really made each drink taste like pure sugar unfortunately.

Stopped in here for a matcha latte and pour over. The best matcha latte Iâve ever had and I was told the pour over was excellent as well. Chatted with the owner for a minute and you could tell he was a very kind and considerate person. Great vibes
