Visited the restaurant Tuesday night for their community dinner. The offers were half a chicken for one for $30 or a whole chicken for two for $48. Both came with Mac and cheese, pickled vegetables, biscuits, and spiced honey. You also get $6 house wine and beer The chicken was tender and juicy. The spiced honey was great for the chicken and biscuit. The Mac and cheese was delicious!!!! We had plenty leftover to take home. We ordered an extra apple salad to split to make it more a balanced meal.
We happened upon this restaurant while investigating breweries to visit on trip up New Jersey. We booked the Noble Mushroom dinner event which is part of the Meet the Makers series. The food was absolutely delicious. Great match with the Noble Mushrooms. The wine pairings were spot on as well. Definitely the highlight of our holiday. .
A recommendation from a coworker for this restaurant. He highly suggested the steak, cocktails and beers. After a day of wine tasting, we couldn't consume any liquor due to a long drive home. However, the steak is fantastic - juicy and tender. This is a farm to table spot so the ingredients are fresh and organic. A very romantic, cozy and English vibe, which is suitable for dating and family gatherings. We were set in a room with a large window view to the field, which was even awesome. Joseph was our waiter of the night. He was informative, funny, and had a great service skill. He also helped us with nice pictures. The menu is changing every week. That makes us want to come back to check them out, especially desserts and drinks. Next time I shall spare my time to visit a distillery close by as well.
I would like to start off by saying everyone working here that we encountered were great. Friendly and kind. Our place was clean and decorated elegantly. Came in for a last-minute getaway with the wife and I had an overall good experience. Ordered the sausage sampler watch out it’s a little spicy and the pretzels. The drink I ordered had curry in it, so I didn’t enjoy it since I am not a fan of curry but that’s a fault of mine. When the waiter asked why I didn’t have my drink I mentioned to him my concern, and he insisted to take the drink off my bill. Very nice of him. Of course I tipped well.
Never have enough good things to say about this place. It blows my mind every time! My boyfriend and I celebrated our three year anniversary here tonight. When making a reservation a few weeks ago, I was prompted to answer what the occasion was and thoughtlessly selected “anniversary”. After sharing a pour at the dog run bar outside, we got sat for our reservation and our wonderful server greeted us with surprise champagne to toast our celebration! That was the sweetest touch and a complete surprise! For food, we were given their complimentary bread with a delicious honey butter. I always look forward to what kind of butter they will have! We shared the potato latke with pork for an appetizer. It was my first time having a latke and I loved it! For my meal, I got the ribeye of the day and it was cooked to perfection. The flavors were wonderful including potatoes and roasted carrots as the sides. My boyfriend got the dayboat scallops of the day. They were perfectly laid on top of some type of purée that was life changing! So delicious. Our meals were accompanied by some amazing pours of Troon. To finish, we shared a flavorful wild honey creme brûlée, and an espresso martini. This place never disappoints and we are always so glad we make the hour drive to celebrate here. The woman who was our server was just excellent! Very sweet, great service and the perfect pace. Looking forward to coming back!
The outdoor patio is beautiful and service was excellent. Just the kind of atmosphere you’re looking for on a summer evening. The cocktails were well crafted! While we liked our main dishes, we thought both could use a little more flavor. The lamb was was cooked well, but we thought it was lacking a punch of flavor. The dish felt more complete by adding their roasted red pepper/honey spread (that was served with the bread as an app) on top the lamb latkes. The rigatoni and meatballs were also decent, however I expected more of a developed sauce. The toasted parmesan on top really added a nice element.
We had a lovely birthday brunch. Very relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, lots of delicious farm to table menu items, and a fun farm store out back where you can buy many of the items on the menu. While we miss the old market, this is a fun setting for a meal, a drink and a store to stock up on fresh made bread, meats & poultry from the farm. Would love to spend a chill afternoon in the tap room!
All around amazing experience. The restaurant and the grounds are beautiful. The food was delicious and service was great. The scallop special with corn fritters was exquisite. The bone marrow small plate was not small at all and came with lots of meat added in addition to 2 huge bone with rich marrow. The squash pirogies with pork may have been our favorite. The pulled pork over the Latke was good but the latke would have been much better crispy and fried like the corn fritters with the tasty pulled pork on the side so the latke didnt get soggy. The blueberry vanilla drink I ordered with the local spirits came looking like it was half a drink which was disappointing and lead to me only getting one drink, but it tasted great nonetheless. My mom got an espresso martini that was good and they didn’t skimp on that one. We took a break during our meal and walked around the beautiful grounds which was a highlight and cherry on top of a wonderful meal. We will be back and highly recommend you come here too.

I love their fast service and delicious food. The coffee and tea station right inside the door is very convenient if you're in a hurry. The desserts are so good - I especially love the coconut rice pudding. The potato salad is my favorite around - fr
Loved this gourmet burger joint In Hopewell! Great food, ambience and service. We tried the korzo and the Otto. Both were very good. Loved their sauces that came with it. We also ordered the Mac n cheese for the kids and it was delicious. Oh abs how
What a great find! Hopewell is such a cute town and this is a really tasty restaurant. The owner was very friendly. We got chicken and beef empanadas, the tostada burger and the bandeja paisa all were very toothsome. It's BYOB.
The beetnik is one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. I usually stay away from these sort of places because I assume the price is going to be high. The prices here are reasonable, especially considering how much 5 guys or shake shack are these day
This is the real deal NJ diner. Big menu, great flavor with friendly staff. I had an omelette which was massive including sides. Iâve also enjoyed the chili and pie there. You really canât go wrong.
