Brian Black Tea - Bubble tea store in Fremont - 43982 Pacific Commons Blvd, USA

The last time I saw this boba shop was when I was in Taiwan — so i was UTTERLY surprised when i found out that this place opened their first location in FREMONT… out of all other places. I got their black milk tea with boba and cheese foam and honestly… it tasted JUST like how I had it in Taiwan! The service was honestly really quick — and I was in and out in 5 minutes. I was utterly impressed by how frothy they made the foam too — and they would check in to make sure my order was made well and with good quality. The environment was a little small — but for a boba shop that just opened, you can’t really expect much from it honestly. On a scale of 10, I would honestly give them a 7 as I feel like they could have included more seating — that is if they’re allowed to in an establishment like that.

Okay, I hate to say anything bad, but I truly hoped I would have liked this place. Based on just the drinks, I'd give it three stars or even two. I got the calamansi black tea and I liked it, but it just didn't taste like calamansi at all. I got 25% sugar like I normally do at any place, but it tasted like 0% sugar. I didn't taste calamansi at all, I'd describe it like I was drinking a slightly less sweet honest kids juice with boba in it. My brother got the iron goddess milk tea and he said his tasted like water (also got 25% sugar) as if they forgot the milk in his milk tea. Although, there are no complaints about the boba. Overall, it was just mediocre. Service: service was good, our cashier was very patient with us and saved my father's drink, telling him that the brown sugar milk was just milk and not milk tea lolol. Drinks came out quickly even though there was a decent amount of people there Atmosphere: place is very clean, but there's only three small seating areas so not really a place to sit down and chat for awhile. I do like how the place has all paper cups though. I really wish this place could've won me over, but it was sadly disappointing as much as I wanted to enjoy it.

I think they are worst and really terrible, their milk tea is not covered tightly, and their service isn’t nice and the guy who pick the phone up attitude is so funny when he heard. The milk tea is not covered tightly, all of milk tea in the bagpack. My bagpack has iPad and iPods inside. All of them were broken because of milk tea leakage. But the man just big laughed at that and end the phone. This restaurant should go out of business. 🤮🤮🤮

Brian Black Tea has a nice modern aesthetic. I never seen a non-clear cup for a milk tea before so they stood out in that aspect. Iron Goddess Tea 75% Sweetness and Grass Jelly: This was really good since you can taste the tea without it being too strong/bitter. I feel like the sweetness level was good but I get hints of a sweet aftertaste so maybe I'll try 50% sweetness next time. The grass jelly went well with the Iron Goddess Milk Tea but they gave too much so I felt like I was eating a dessert more than drinking a milk tea. Assam With Oat Milk 100% Sweetness: We never had milk tea with oat milk before so this was the first time we tried it, and it just didn't taste right. Usually assam tea has a strong flavor but it didn't shine through this time. The drink had a more watery consistency than regular milk tea. Would not recommend it. The 100% sweetness wasn't bad either - tasted pretty close to standard sweetness level.

After seeing this place on various social media platforms, I decided to try it out as I was in the Fremont area. I had seen online that there was crazy wait times, so I was definitely prepared to wait. To my surprise when I walked over to the store, it wasn't busy at all, but I do believe they had just opened. They have very large menu boards that are easy to read. I ended up settling on the iron goddess milk tea. I also added boba. My total came out to $7 plus tax which isn't too bad because I got the large size. Waiting for the drink was about 2 minutes. The staff is very friendly. The drink itself was not that bad, but there wasn't a super strong tea flavor. It wasn't bad, but I more than likely would try a different drink if I were to come back here.

It's a newly opened black/milk tea shop. It's a Saturday afternoon and has long line about 15-20 people in front of me. However, after try their first tea in the menu, I am very disappointed. The tea is light and taste like it was been brewing for a while. The second drink even worse, green lemon black tea and it's not even use the fresh lemon. Hope they can improve the taste. Otherwise I can see they won't survive too long.

It’s a mediocre newly opened tea place. They have less tea options. Friendly staff and clean area. Not much seating so prepare to take it to go. Can be better if more options are added. I had a cold tea and was not a big fan of it. Will get back to see if they made any improvements.
