Brewed Awakenings - Cafe in Vancouver - 16318 SE 12th St, USA

I love brewed awakenings coffee and pastries but the service is awful. They are slow, rude, not friendly whatsoever. Their coffee is expensive and I would at least like a smile or welcome... anything. The girl looked at me annoyed that I was even in her presence and it made the interaction so uncomfortable. This is not just an isolated incident either. I have come 3 other times to the drive thru and same rude behavior. As much as I love their coffee I hate the poor service. Be kind.

Coffee and their drinks are great, Service too. Baked good fresh and delicious. I didn't see any gluten-free items but I didn't ask either

I work next door and I’ve been going to this place for almost a year now. I love coming in during my breaks and seeing Olivia and Samiyra because they were always welcoming and friendly. I stopped going about a month or two ago because the customer service has gone downhill. The newer baristas are rude and slow and they make you feel like you’re bothering them. They messed up my orders multiple times and most times, I wouldn’t say anything. I try to be patient because they’re new, but it got to a point where they’re rude behavior didn’t justify their mistakes. I finally spoke up and asked them to remake my drink, and the whole crew just glared at me with annoyance. To be more specific, the girl with the dark, shoulder length hair and the other girl with dirty-blonde, long hair and glasses. I gave this place multiple chances, but this is definitely my last time going there. It’s unfortunate because I really loved this place and their beverages, but the service is awful.

I visited this place for the first time and I was genuinely impressed! They have several different options for alternative milk. My matcha was really delicious! (Although FYI it does contain some dairy). But the place is full of comfy chairs and seats making it a great place to sit, read, journal, etc.

After waiting 12 minutes for a cup of house coffee the employees were working the drive-through and one other order decided it wasn’t worth it. They can keep my $3

I like the place and have been there many times. But it is a bit small and can be quite loud when there's a lot of people talking. Otherwise, it is nice. Staff are helpful and easy to work with.

I ordered a iced latte with oat milk and it was really good! No sweetener needed and the espresso flavor comes through well. The baristas are really friendly and I appreciate the drink not overloaded with ice :) Would recommend coming here for the quality.

This used to be my favorite local coffee place. There have been several problems recently. Their gift card redemption system has changed several times over the past few years and previous rewards were lost. Friends gifted me their gift cards, and that value has been lost. The staff was kind enough to comp us our (one) drink when we found out. Which leads to the next problem. My partner enjoys their coffee, but I don’t like coffee, so I’d get a milkshake on our weekly “coffee dates.” This location hasn’t had milkshakes or smoothies for several months now. When chatting with the staff, they say the machine hasn’t been ordered and they “feel our pain.” I’m consistently let down when I think I’m going to get my favorite drink and then cannot. They suggested going to other locations because they all have milkshakes still, but when the nearest location is almost 20 minutes away from this one, I really don’t think it’s worth it. If I’m desperate and in the area, I may try my luck at getting a shake at another location. But it looks like Brewed Awakenings is going downhill and I’m done trying to be their customer.
