Pros: great location, breakfast included, indoor pool, reasonable price, balcony. Cons: our floor was sticky and left our feet black, the bed was rock hard and sheets were thin (you get a super thin fleece blanket sandwiched between 2 more sheets), fitted sheet was hardly fitted and kept slipping off, hot breakfast is only served on weekends and holidays (this was not disclosed and no one told us), parking is horrendous (we had a pass but all the spots were taken). The water when showering would randomly fluctuate between hot and cold.
The location is what makes this hotel amazing This hotel is in the perfect spot. It’s in walking distance to all of the restaurants and shops downtown. We parked our car and never had to move it. The hotel isn’t as nice as a Marriot or a Hilton but it’s clean and so comfortable. We prefer to stay in a suite. The regular rooms are a little tight for my family of 4. The free breakdast is awesome. We enjoyed our balcony views as well. The shuttle to beach is the best too. I believe it goes from 10am-5pm. Definitely, a good option. My only complaint is that I wish it had an outdoor pool instead of an indoor pool.
Our baseball team stayed recently for a weekend for the Sports at the Beach tournament and this place was a complete disappointment. The front desk staff were rude and dishonest and probably should not work in the hotel industry. We booked a suite a few months in advance to accommodate our family if 4 and they pretended like they couldn’t find the reservation. We could see the print out for our room on the desk, but they’d clearly given our room to someone else. They ended up giving us a tiny room that was next to the front desk but still charged us for the suite! In all of my travels I’ve never seen someone so deceitful and unethical behind the front desk of a hotel.||The room we stayed in was tiny and disgusting. The pool looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in 3 years. The parking lot is a disaster. There’s nothing good about this place. Everyone is there for a tournament so if you’re a team manager and reading this, do not put your team through the torture of staying at this dump!
The 3 night stay at this hotel went well although the price was on the higher end. The employees at the front desk were friendly and welcoming during all interactions. The bed was comfortable and the sheets smelled freshly laundered. The breakfast was great and had options from cereal, eggs, bacon, sausage, bagels, muffins, coffee, milk, and yogurt. The location of the hotel is about a ten minute walk to the boardwalk, with plenty of restaurants down the street. There is a safe in the room, but it did not work, and the television is older, but everything else was great. Tip - there are little stores nearby that have toiletries, but they are super expensive.
The good: Got the park view suite. Room was a good size and had a double balcony. All hotel staff were amazing! Front desk staff were all very helpful. Housekeeping did a great job. Maintenance man was nice. Breakfast staff was pleasant. Breakfast was good. Pool was relaxing.
The bad: First night the youngest child (4) went to take a bath and turned on the button for the jets in the bathtub. The force of the jet combined with the sand on his skin gave him a brush burn. The third day of our stay something happened to the ceiling over the lobby coffee area, so no more decent coffee.
I didn't deduct any stars because of the brush burn as this wasn't really the hotels fault. The front desk gave me extra k cups to brew in the room to help remedy the coffee situation (I have a coffee addiction) so I also didn't deduct stars for that.
Overall we had a great stay and an awesome time at the beach. Have stayed here before and will definitely stay here again.
Friendliest, most helpful staff of any hotel I've ever stayed. We had room 222, a 2 bedroom suite, and it was perfect for our family of 2 adults and 5 children. The walk to the beach was short and pleasant through a lovely quiet neighborhood. Plus the gentleman that drives the shuttle is always out and waiting to give you a ride. The breakfast each morning was a great combination of hot food and lots of grab and go choices. The ladies that do the breakfast are amazing at keeping everything filled. They never even came close to running out of anything. The boardwalk is a short walk with lots of fun choices of food and shops. The fifth floor pool filled with windows was a fun addition. No hot tub, but the pool and room get nice and warm with all those windows. I know there's some reviews about rooms not being up to standard, but it was obvious that (at least our room) had been updated not too long ago, so I think those reviews are probably old, or maybe not all the rooms have been updated yet. Ours was great with a huge whirlpool tub. And the entire hotel was perfectly clean, so maybe bad reviews in that department were for previous staff. The current staff is amazing. The kitchenette is a great addition. No plates or utensils or anything, so stop at a store and grab some. We had a fabulous time and will definitely come back.
Our stay at the breakers hotel was absolutely fabulous. The staff could not have been more courteous and helpful. The room was kept clean and the shuttle service provided was a godsend for me. I have trouble walking and it made our trip much easier. The only recommendation I have would be that the shuttle would start a little earlier. We wanted to be on the beach earlier.
We had never stayed here before so I was a bit nervous. However, it was wonderful. The location was perfect for our family. The hotel provided a shuttle to and from the beach (10am-5pm). We walked but it was nice knowing this was an option. Our room was clean. The free breakfast was better than I anticipated and perfect with kids. The best part was the staff. The front desk was extremely helpful and kind. My children tend to ask a ton of questions. They were sweet with them. We had an issue with our tv and the maintenance man was polite, professional and thorough. He replaced our tv. The next time we stay as a family we will be back. Even housekeeping was nice. There was a relaxing and friendly atmosphere with every staff member.

As first-time visitors to Rehoboth Beach, DE, we spent five nights at The Oceanus, and it was worth every penny! The room was sufficient (double beds my only regret), but the customer service was outstanding, and the two block walk to the Atlantic Oc
Definitely deserves five stars. From the wonderful person at the front desk who took my reservation and arranged early check in to the facilities management team who personally checked with me to make sure our room was perfect. We have stayed at many
Pleasantly surprised! Off-season, not much open so decided to try something different. Drawn in by the interesting hot dog options, but decided to try authentic Puerto Rican food made from scratch right there. Owner was pleasant and helpful offerin
This is such a great little place. They have a lot of vegan options and creative sauces. We loved coming here on our day trip to the beach. Everything was so fresh and flavorful!! Thank you. ðð
We ordered a savory crepe - ham/cheese/tomato and sweet crepes - peach/whipped cream and banana/chocolate/whipped cream.
They were excellent - especially the savory crepe. FYI they now accept credit card with a fee unlike some of the pictures of the
The owners are so kind and accommodating. We always plan a stop every time we visit Dewey. The fresh, made to order donuts are a highlight. Make a point to go here. You will be glad you did.
I love Towers Beach. Easy parking. Clean, sizeable beach. Life guards on duty. Showers on premise. No boardwalk noise. Just families, sand and ocean. Bring your own food and drinks. Budget friendly family spot.
Transport yourself to the south of France just off the boardwalk in Rehoboth! Fantastic yet simple menu, with a modest but well thought wine list. Our party of 4enjoyed the escargot, cheese and charcuterie plate, steak frites (minus the frites, c'es
I've been coming to Rehoboth for some 30 years now and have always wanted to stop here but never did! I finally went today and was so delighted. This is a small but mighty museum, excellently curated with wonderful old artifacts and photos and inform
