Braum's Ice Cream & Dairy Store - Ice cream shop in Tyler - 3635 Troup Hwy #110, USA

Most disappointing day going to this place. A portion of chicken sandwich was uncooked. They made me another one for me but the person that I spoke with was very unprofessional. Said to me that he was going to make me one but don't have to, even wrote my name down in his blue book. I should of gotten his name. But I do remember his face. This is the one on Troup by Roadhouse.

Braum’s is my favorite place to grab a burger and as long as I’ve been a customer, they’ve never disappointed me until Monday. I stopped by to grab lunch on my break. I ordered a quarter pound bacon cheeseburger no lettuce or tomatoes. I knew something was off when I got to the window because they handed it to me rather quick. I pulled around to check my burger and it wasn’t fresh (both meat and cheese were cold) Honestly looked just thrown together. Parked and went inside and asked for a remake. Cashier asked me 10 times what I wanted on my burger and I replied 10 times. No lettuce or tomatoes. Remake burger had tomatoes. Really disappointed. Great customer service just couldn’t deliver a great order.

Had a good selection of ice cream of course! Large area to eat your lunch or dinner. Something for everyone there from ice cream to hamburgers. They even have a store where you can get everything you need for a quick dinner. Milk, eggs, butter, pasta and sauce. Of course all the dairy products were Braum brand. Even more ice cream flavors! The only negative I encountered was no one was working the cash register at the Dairy Store so it would take a while to checkout.

I have visited this store several times over the last few years. Usually it is delicious 4-5 stars. But yesterday was a huge let down. Got a bag of burgers, tried to eat them in store; they were so cold/lukewarm they cheese wouldn't even melt on them. The burgers seemed cooked so my only assumption can be that they had some leftover from yesterday and forgot to reheat them or something. I will give them another shot in a couple months and update from there.

I'm not sure if they are having staffing problems or what's going on. We were there during lunch a while back, and there was a line out the door with people waiting to place their orders. There was only like 3 people that I could see behind the counter and one of those was running the drive thru. They also had to keep sending someone over to the Market side to ring up customers there. We spent almost a full hour between waiting in line, getting to our table, waiting on our food and then they forgot my Sundae. I had to go back up and stand in line for them to make something we had already paid for. They fixed it wrong the first time, so I took it back up and they remade it correcting it. (the first time there was no cinnamon rolls on it like the ad showed). The burgers and fries were ok, nothing to brag home about. Once I received the corrected sundae, it was fabulous! We will be back, just not during lunch time for sure!

These guys were working a crew of three when nothing else in my neighborhood was open because of the icy weather. Many people came in after us and they handled it well. Good was hot and correctly made. Kudos to these guys.

Went through the drive thru and ordered a double dip in a paper cup and a small twist. Got everything and was told it was $4.10. Of course, I have no idea if this was true because I never received a receipt...or a spoon...or my change!! I was being rushed through because of traffic being me and didn't notice until I pulled out. Just be sure to check your receipt and get your change at this place. It's just another place in Tyler I'll never go again.

I really don’t like to complain, but I’ve had enough!! For the last (at least) 3 times I’ve been here I have had my orders wrong!! I know every single human makes mistakes but… 3 to 5 times in a row??? Come on! Something needs to be done PLEASE!! Here are some pictures to prove my complain.
