It's nice there if you have the ability to slowly climb down steep hills and then back up. They did a good job at entwine history and relaxation. You can go and read, see pics, and visualize the amusement park that was there and there are some good trails for dogs and human alike.
This is a beautiful park with a playground, pavilions with picnic tables and barbecue pits, walking trails, a creek that runs through it, basketball and baseball courts, and so many beautiful large trees. It is a favorite of ours.
Great little park that was an amusement park and bottling facility in the early 1909s. Efforts have been made to preserve what's left of the park and show what was there through historic pictures and written summaries. A great little park for a day trip or picnic, and don't forget to check out the 3 different springs at the park.
Beautiful park for a little walk and hiking, it has got a nice little children’s play area, basketball court and a baseball court. The trails can be slightly muddy depending on season, so use a hiking shoes. Amazing river side trails, the water is very pure and clear. There are a couple of pavilions with barbecue for a nice family picnic. *Plentiful parking.
This is a fun, shady park. The play equipment is a good quality, and the overall park was clean. We didn't explore the rest of the park, but it would be a great place for a picnic or for letting kids run around.
No matter where you access Brandywine Springs Park it is delightful. There is planned trail work this Spring so plan to circumvent the portion of the trail undergoing enhancements. The work is being performed to allow for better handicap access as well as a more robust surface along the trail.
My local park. Kids love the playground. Awesome hiking trails. Also good for some short mountain biking as well.
Nice place to take the dogs for a long walk plenty of shade during the summer heat that gives plenty of protection. I recommend during ealry morning the park isn't too crowded also seems like plenty of space to gave small gathering for gazebos and plenty space for kids to run around will be coming back again.

Great, hilly rides from here to the Brandywine Zoo, up Monkey Hill, North along the Brandywine to Alapocas Run, then back up toward Rockford Park and down to Bancroft Mills, back to Rockford Park, then down to the Brandywine by the DoPont Expirementa
Great place to walk, work out, enjoy the trees and bring your dog! There are restrooms as well. Very dog friendly, plenty of room for a great picnic, perfect spot for the whole family
A transcendental movement took place upon entry into this forest. Enchanted geese 𪿠gathered near our presence and ate vegetation as if we were part of nature alongside them. I highly recommend gracing this place with your being. Itâs game & lif
A great place to kill time, just bring a basketball. Or a baseball or a softball or a tennis ball or a squash ball or a football or a soccer ball and that's really all you need. It seems to never get busy here so it's always peaceful. However I did c

UNBELIEVABLE. We stopped here for the first time while traveling from Delaware to NY. It's in a space with other food places (a big food court), but just go straight to these guys! The food was SO DELICIOUS with every bite. We ordered the Chickn Sand
Enjoyed our first visit here. Friendly and efficient staff. Pleasantly surprised how quickly our order was ready. Food was delicious although a bit too salty. Although limited space, they've managed to provide a nice window bar with seating which fel
First visited Sleeping Bird shortly after they opened a few years ago. Unfortunately my schedule precludes me from being able to stop here. Today my schedule changed and we were able to come back. Sleeping Bird is in my top 10 coffee shops, if not m
Very high quality for a single stand operation, with consistent options across the board. Every meal I've had here I thoroughly enjoyed. It is difficult to remember to take pictures as it usually gone before my phone comes out. Being a small busines
Close friends of ours let us in on this local gem! The sparkling clean just polished bar is just a preview of the amazing service you will receive when you sit at the bar. Though it was my first time visiting I felt as though I was among family membe
Oh how I love the menu, the ingredients, the employees, and the atmosphere. I just fill out my order on a piece of paper and hand it over to the server. May I say, she knew how to hook me up! Because, in my experience, I've never received a poke bowl
Different cheesesteak #1062 in the last five years. I have been driving by Joey Tâs and seeing his âBest of Delaware' banners for years but never had cash or there was a line. The stars aligned the other day and I stopped. I was going to get t
This playground features different age-appropriated play sets and also a large sandpit with toys in it. With trees and covers, you can still take a break in the shade during summer playtime. Play structures are well maintained and interesting. Parkin
The HiLo House is more than a place to workout. It's a movement. The instructors, the management, and the atmosphere are superb. Do yourself a favor and sign up immediately. It'll be the best decision you make all year, I promise.
