Bposhtels Myrtle Beach South - Hostel in Myrtle Beach - 2207 S Ocean Blvd B, USA

Your comfort and rest here highly depend on two factors: 1) who is staying here and 2) who is the host who stays with you. On this recent occasion, I had four nights. First night I had to sleep in my car due to extreme snoring noise by the person in my room. This is violation of quite time policy everyone sign at the arrival, but no one is enforcing it here. So, one person who snores is resting, and five others are suffering and have an option to either leave the room or play with phone all night and then sleep during the day. Ear plugs just do not work. Second night I was disturbed by another snorer and the host shuffling the dishes at 5am in the morning. Again, you can't enforce anything here, at least against the host. The third night I got lucky, and slept well. No complaints. But fourth night when I knew I need to sleep before the long drive, my other roommate decided to eat chips until 2am in the morning, and the host was coming in and out to smoke on the balcony. Paid for four nights, was able to use only one. No quite time here, no rules, and no one to enforce them, at leas in your favour. Very disrespectful. The longer term tenants and host are getting priority over your rest here for which you paid.

If i could give this place negative star review that’s what it would get. Traveled all the way from ohio…. 9 hours, when we get there front desk tells us our room is being shared with 5 other people & we have to share 1 bed on the bunks. Were dead tired after traveling all night after working all day not even getting there until 4am… were headed to the room getting into the elevator & it smells like someone took the biggest poop of their life. We get to our room & it smells even worse with no beds available to even share with each other. Lady at front desk tells us there is nothing she can do about it contact this 3rd party company. No other rooms available had to call around to hotels trying to find a room now not only are we out of over $100.00 we are still up at 530am trying to find a place to take a nap so we don't sleep the whole birthday weekend asleep. Was on the phone with customer service & she says she will have to keep 90% of the money & she will have a manager call us in an hour… never heard from them. I would not recommend this hotel or company to anyone… save your money & spend a lil more on something better!!!

Booked a room for me and my two kids. I specifically marked one adult and two children, it then asks for my children’s age. When we get to check in we are informed it is not kid friendly. We traveled 3 hours so my girls could spend the night on the beach. After contact the people I reserved through they said I had to get ahold of someone to see if they would waive the cancellation. It’s impossible to get ahold of someone. The receptionist at the hotel got ahold of them but would not let me explain in details that I booked with my kids, so I shouldn’t have been booked. After the booking people sent an email to waive the cancellation, they denied it. I was so angry, my children and I just went back home. These people are a scam!!!

I booked my nephew and his friend here for senior week because they allow check in at 18. Reservation for two blah day to blah day. They got there and they said their reservation was canceled because we didn’t make it for two people….but we did. I checked again when he called to tell me the problem they were having. So….they said they canceled it because it was for two people and we didn’t do it for two people….but they knew before they got there that the reservation they're (incorrectly) saying was for one was actually for two so it needed to be canceled. Without warning. They were hours away from home trying to figure out a plan. He did say that it wasn’t a bad place location and physical appearance wise. But be sure you’ve got a backup plan if you have to use this place.

Bposhtels Myrtle Beach South's Advertisement is VERY DECEPTIVE in not disclosing the Actual type of stay they're selling! Your stay will be in a somewhat of a nice hotel called "Sandcastle Oceanfront Resort South Beach" that's located at the address Bposhtels has on their listing. BUYER BEWARE: Dormitory Room is not the style or type of room you're renting!!! It's not until after you book and pay - Full Disclosure is sent via email stating this is a "Shared" stay; which may be okay for some BUT not OK for most. Bposhtel has made an agreement and leased a couple of rooms that they've added bunk beds for multiple guests. But fail in their Advertisement to say it's a Shared stay, and you will be renting a bed, and other guests that you'll be staying with has done the same. Again this may fit some folks life style; just not mine. Based on the reviews the lack of details and lack of FULL DISCLOURE is potentially causing Bposhtel their reputation and repeat guests. This may even be a a New Niche that may take the world by storm; But at this time - The type of stay Bposhtel is offering doesn't work for ME & MY FAMILY!!!

Honestly it's a shared 12 man room. During off season it's great. Only like 4 in the whole unit. It's a bit sloppy, definitely could use improvements in the rooms, for tha price it's not bad.

All of the workers are very professional and knowledgeable about the area and I felt very safe each night I stayed. I'd recommend Bposhtels Myrtle Beach South.

I reserved a hotel room at 12:00 p.m., came to check-in at 4:00 p.m. I was told that your registration was canceled, and they could not help me at the reception, the worst service. And I came 300 miles away
