It's challenging to navigate the dynamics of a hostel when everyone comes from different backgrounds and has different habits. However, Bposhtels did an awesome job managing. And I had a fabulous stay balling on a budget. And would book again if in need.

I stayed there one night only. As far as I've seen the room was reasonable, for the price I paid. Check-in was fast and painless. Clean and cozy. Complimentary breakfast. It's located in the heart of downtown Hollywood. Surrounded by restaurants and shops. I cannot say anything negative about the place and my positive experience is very limited. The five stars I've given it It's because my short stay there was good.

We have been guest here for a week now and the a/c does not work in the room nor the lobby. We have notified staff and they still haven’t even tried to do anything about the situation. Seems they do not want to change to a new a/c unit i the room even though we have a hard time sleeping at night because of the heat and during the day with the sun out you can just imagine I’m feeling they don’t care about the guest. No a/c day 5. I will keep th countdown to see how long they will take to fix the situation As I mentioned we did notify all staff through the hostel manager, which he also spoke to “ the Owner ,” and here we are day 6 and still seems like there is no intention in comforting the guest on their well deserved vacations. This touch would r es Lou make the place perfect. Any attention to this matter will be much appreciated Here we are day 7… no sign of anyone trying to take a look or examine the air conditioning.

My experience with Bposhtels Hollywood Florida was great. The Staff was friendly, welcoming, and attentive. When we had some concerns, she immediately took the proper recourse by making sure that all of our concerns were taken care of. We loved our accommodations and the room was excellent. It was a mess. Mould and roaches all over the bathroom and kitchenette. Pool out of order. A guy that came twice a day to check up on us. There were rumors of cameras in the room. No answers to multiple emails. No socials with other guests then inroom.

IF YOU ARE A WOMAN, DO NOT STAY IN THE MIXED DORM. Trust me, I learned this the hard way. I am a young woman who booked the mixed dorm for a one-week stay, and I ended up having to end my trip four days early after receiving death and r*pe threats from a male guest in the room. I did get a refund for the rest of my stay, but this incident severely affected me ... This man did not leave the bed for the three days I was there, and it became clear that he was intoxicated all along after being reported and evicted from the room the day I left (staff did take action after what occurred). Kitchen in the mixed dorm is old and crusty with cockroaches dead in the freezer. Otherwise, the hotel in which the hostel is located seemed great, so consider staying there or in the female dorm if possible as these options seemed much cleaner and safer. Tom, an employee at the hostel, is a very kind and helpful man. He tries to get gets together for social activities and you can ask him for fun activities to do in the area. Location is fabulous; Walmart, CVS, restaurants, mall, and beach all within walking distance.

The location has everything within walking distance, beach, shops, food, entertainment, too much to do. An incredible bargain for a traveler or somebody escaping winter weather.

As a hostel goes, it is pleasant and has amenities any backpacker would want or need. It was a bit musty, but I think this is also partially the nature of the climate. There's a small fridge, a private washroom, and even a small area for extra storage or sitting for a meal. It is in an awkward spot as far as being somewhat far from anything you really 'want' to see (downtown Miami, Hollywood Beach, Miami Beach), so a car would be recommended for this location. But, if you're comfortable walking a couple blocks and just want to laze on a beach for a few days, this might be the place for you. Grocery, pharmacy, and restaurants all within a 5 minute walk, the beach is about 10 minutes. Altogether, not bad bang for your buck. Only other major gripe is the mattresses are absolutely terrible. Management, please change out every one of these low cost cots, the beds alone would dissuade from all the other likeable amenities.
