A cute ski place in Allegheny county. There was only enough snow for the tubing, bunny slope and the green slope. The mountain is pretty small and great for families or beginners to practice going down the slopes
This is an old-fashioned, learn-to-ski place. Not luxurious (pretty sure it hasn't been renovated since the 80s), but very practical. There are 3 regular-skill slopes, a tubing slope, and a beginner slope. Prices are very reasonable. They do make snow, so the tubing and beginner slope can be open even on a 50° day. It's also right in the middle of a residential area, super close to Pittsburgh. 3stars are only because of the low-scale property. They have private, 1-hour lessons for $30 = super nice instructors!
The staff here are so rude and out of service minded. They don't know how to treat the customers. Most of them are high schoolers and work for just one season with no responsibility for the money. The quality of the snow and the slope is awful. We saw less snow on the ski slope each time we visited this place. I have never seen a ski resort like this with little snow. It looks like the local hills for free snow activities.
there is more grass and ice than snow.. Don’t waste your time or money with this place. You’re better off spending more but actually having a good time at seven springs.
Great, small, and convenient place for learning to ski or snowboard. Had a blast coming here and teaching my family to snowboard while only paying a fraction you would at a larger resort. This slope is a massive benefit to Pittsburgh!
I can't believe that this is a Allegheny county Park there is a lot of activities for the the family, a small ski hill and a snow tube hill. This a great place to learn how to ski and the prices are inexpensive and the rental gear is outstanding for the price. Check online to make sure they are open and for current price list.
What a gem. Cheap easy local skiing, perfect for babies and beginners. Concessions affordable. But lift tickets online in advance since they do sell out.
Great place for beginners! I took a ski lesson here today and Dave, my instructor, was super helpful & friendly! Prices are great here for everything from lessons to renting equipment to the lift tickets. Highly recommend for those learning how to ski/ snowboard!
