When it comes to Coach Mike, not only his teaching methods are amazing but the lessons he will teach you along the way are very important for boxing and real life. Coach Mike is one of those rare coaches that only come once in a life time. I feel like Coach Mike is different from other coaches because he shows REAL discipline. Other coaches do not compare to Coach Mike simply because other coaches don’t know the true meaning of discipline, but Coach Mike will for sure turn boys in to men and get rid of weakness. Coach Mike has a tough as nails approach and is one of the best. When we brought our son to Coach Mike to learn the fundamentals of boxing, his training exceeded our expectations. Our son had never boxed before taking a class with Coach Mike (although he’d done a similar physical activity in the past). After just a few classes training with Coach Mike, we have noticed a major improvement in not only our son’s form, but also in his attention outside of the gym. Coach Mike does an excellent job of giving his students equal attention in class, regardless of how full the class is. How he’s able to correct form, deliver instruction, and explain how to execute moves to students individually while maintaining order is like magic. We highly recommend Coach Mike’s boxing class to parents who want to instill discipline, focus, and to of course learn the fundamentals of boxing. The positive skills developed in the class he teaches will extend beyond the gym.

Coach Mike teaches kids NOT ONLY about boxing, he teaches also about being disciplined, willpower, showing up on time, never giving excuses, how to face fears and overcome them, respect yourself and others, how to work as a team together and so on. My son is 11 years old, and has been working with Coach Mike since July (only 3 months for now) and the way he thinks is different now. Like he is getting independent, gaining confidence. As a mom, I am so proud of witnessing his growth.

I have been a fan of boxing for a long time and I started training in my early 20’s and I worked with a good number of different trainers. None of them come close to Coach Mikes level of training, intensify and knowledge for the sport of boxing. This man is another level when it comes to his technique and toughness that he instills into all his students. Especially if you are considering taking this sport to a professional level or have the desire to want to compete this is the guy you want in your corner! His resume alone and list of champions that he’s trained in his lifetime is proof that his coaching is highly effective. Before I met coach Mike I barley ran 2 miles and couldn’t jump rope longer then 3 minutes. I have been training with coach Mike for about 15 months now and I can run up to 6miles with 1 pound weights in my hands and I jump rope for about 8-10 min. I always had great aspirations and desire to want to compete in the sport of boxing, but my only regret is that I wish I would have met Coach Mike in my early teens. One of my dreams growing up was to win the golden glove tournament but I didn’t have the right discipline and drive until recently. I guarantee with coach mikes expertise and my hard work and persistency I can accomplish a lot despite my age. I am proud to say I am one of Coach mikes students and he is also a great mentor inside and outside the ring.

My only regret is that I didn’t meet Coach Mike sooner in life I think I would have realized how to work harder sooner. If you want someone to tell you good job even if you do bad and lie and take as much money as they can coach Mike isn’t for you. But if you want to learn real Russian style of boxing with a coach who will give you 100% effort and take you to a new level if you are truly willing to go then go to Coach Mike and push yourself to get better everyday to be a champ in competition and or in life.

As a professional athlete myself I've never come across any coach who is as amazingly knowledgeable, clear in his instruction, great personality and teaches you also about the right attitude and sportsmanship.
