Bowie House, Auberge Resorts Collection - Featured Reviews (133)
My wife and I stayed here because it was close to the Dickie's arena. Auberge resorts are always fantastic, and this was no exception.||||The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The decor was tastefully modern western, perfect for this type of hotel in Ft. Worth. Kudos to the interior designer.||||We noticed a dinner reservation mixup a few days ahead of our stay. Mathew, the bar manager, sorted it out creatively ahead of time, and is extremely knowledgeable to boot. ||||Our dinner at Bricks & Horses that night was excellent, and our server, Hudson, was a big reason why.||||This is our new go-to place in Ft. Worth. We are already planning a trip back in a few months, with friends!
Absolute perfection! We chose Bowie House for our 25th anniversary trip and it proved more than worthy of our milestone occasion. The staff was lovely throughout and seemed extremely happy to be there. That positivity and spirit permeated the entire hotel.
The pool was sparkling clean and delightful, especially on hot August afternoons. Avery out at the pool made sure we felt taken care of and worked hard to make sure everything was just right for us. We never made it to the spa, but it looked incredible.
The hotel is perfectly located in the Arts District and incredibly adept at combining truly authentic Texas touches with modern elegance. Every detail thought out and executed perfectly, exceeding expectations for a five-star hotel. The restaurant and in-room dining delivered on the same promise with delicious and interesting selections and warm, capable service. The artwork throughout was clearly carefully chosen and not only added to the charm and charisma of the hotel, it was also a nod to the nearby museum community.
Cherry on top was the fantastic shower with a nice, tall shower head, uncomplicated controls, and dreamy water pressure. Can’t overlook a great shower!
We are local to DFW and can see an annual trip to Bowie House to celebrate our anniversary for years to come! Highly recommend!
This hotel is stunning! Beyond the very cool art, vibe and accommodations the staff is the crown jewel of this hotel. Everyone goes above and beyond to make your stay feel so special. The food is AMAZING and the bar is a very cool scene. Highly recommend.
Had a friends 30th birthday, rented cabana and went all out with decor. Went to pay and realized wallet was stolen. Cabana is secure and very hard to sneak in and grab something as wallet was buried in purse in back of cabana, only bartenders would know where and how to complete. They threw away all decor, easel, ballooons, sign and all without permission. We had rented until 7 pm and they threw away before 5 before our dinner where we were supposed to take our decor. Very shady. Managers acted as if we could see cameras once reported and then all of a sudden changed their agenda. Nothing was done, no compensation for taking all decor down. Not a single call beyond us leaving. Horrible. Would never go back based on how “secure” you should be and completely wrong. Scary this is in our back door.
This is the third time staying at Bowie House this summer. I never write reviews for anything but felt that this hotel went way beyond to ensure my experience was a 10 every single time. ||||The staff called before my arrival each time just see if there was anything they could do to make my stay better||||The rooms are gorgeous, the artwork and the decor is unlike anything I have ever seen I would highly recommend the art tour in the hotel. ||I just can’t saw enough about this property. A 10/10 in my book and TBH I’m a very picky difficult traveler and the staff went way beyond to make sure everything was to my expectations. ||I have already booked my next visit.
I went along with a buddy to take the tour of the artworks which populate this "hotel". I say that because the vibe of the place is more like a fancy, yet Bohemian in its arty diversity, house, than a typical modern hotel. Make no mistake, this is an upscale (read: expensive, though my tour was free) well appointed hotel with all the amenities and super service you'd expect, just funkier. And quite pleasant.
We are locals, but stayed here for a nearby concert last night. This place is fantastic. The rooms and amenities are beautiful and the service is impeccable. But what surprised me was the food. We'll come back here just to eat. We sampled lots of stuff from the menu and all of it was other-worldly delicious. An excellent experience.
