Boudin SF - Bakery and Cake Shop in Huntington Beach - 18541 Beach Blvd, USA

Expected corporate food, but pleasantly surprised. Sourdough round has a good tang and substance. Pizza sauce is very tasty. Almond croissant is flaky and the marzipan is flavorful. Wife loved her soup and salad and daughter enjoyed her Impossible burger.

Insanely bad customer service, I watched a couple who ordered 20 minutes before us, the cooks messed up their order and when they rightfully asked for a refund the manager Xavier took away their food they just got, and walked away. Xavier the MOD stood in the back 95% of the time we were here while the cooks clearly needed help Avoid this location at all costs until new management is hired

Hit or miss these days. Good food for breakfast and lunch. Stick to the chowder and salads. Great loyalty / rewards program. Have had quality issues with order being correct. New sandwiches are dry, over priced, just blah. ****update ****3.20.2023. They got rid of the previous sandwiches and have this new Mediterranean Menu, which is awesome! The Gyro looks like the picture, was made with plenty of filling and absolutely delicious.

So good, but so much. Really need to get that family meal so worth it.

My husband stopped in for a loaf of bread and some sweets. There were only 3 people in the store, but he wasn't greeted. The cashier (who was across the room from the food on display) asked what he wanted. My husband told him. The cashier rang up the order before walking over to get the food. Never asked if my husband wanted anything else, thx for coming in... nothing! Lousy c/s!!

We each had a salad and both were really good (except Cobb Salad, it barely had any toppings, it was boring). I had a grilled cheese too and it was delicious. Service was good. My only complaint was the price. It was about $38.00 for 2 salads, 1 soda and 1 grilled cheese. #LocalGuides

This place could’ve been good but, the customer service is trash, the lady in purple who was the cashier, Julietta, was very rude, did not greet us, did not read back my order and rang us up for a French dip rather than the two NEW sandwiches that are on the board that we clearly asked for. She messed up on other peoples orders as well while we were there. Then I brought it to the attention of the old man in a black collar shirt that I’m assuming is the other manager and he didn’t even respond, just looked at me then walked in the back… first experience at a Boudin and will be our last. (At this location in Huntington Beach, we may give another location a chance!)

This place sucks or its miss managed. First time I thought it had to do with the end of the day hour. Finally I order the clam chowder again and early and it's chalky water. Save your money and buy a can. It takes a lot for me to leave a bad review. But if I don't, they won't know. If they do, shame on them for not correcting. Do better and Provide quality.
