Best Clam Chowder that we’ve ever had!!! We had the “cup” size which was a very generous and filling portion. We also had the Fish & Chips which was well-cooked and also a generous portion. This restaurant has a really nice calming view. Also, our waitress was very quick & friendly!
Best seafood restaurant in Boston. We ordered Clam chowder, lobster chowder, fish and chips. Perfectly located at the riverside with good crowd. We went during our Christmas holidays. It was nice cozy and warm restaurant with decent service. Pretty reasonable as well. We are Definitely coming back again.
We came here mainly for clam chowder soup and it does not disappoint! I’m normally not a clam chowder guy, but the one from Boston Sail Loft I can eat for days. We also had the lobster bisque soup, lobster ravioli and calamari salad. They all were pretty good, but their clam chowder soup is hands down the best!
Awesome place, very fresh, flavorful food. The clam chowder was awesome and a meal on its own. Rich, creamy and full of flavor. The fish and chips melts in your mouth and tasted fresh. Would definitely go back.
Lovely restaurant beside the harbor. We came after 1pm to avoid the lunch crowd. The Lobster with Mussel is fresh, the Lobster Roll is a bit cold, the Chowder is creamy but a bit too salty to my liking. Overall, it was a very good lunch for the three of us.
Great restaurant in a great location! The New England clam chowder is excellent. Best in Boston (so the waitress told us... And said she had to as part of her contract. Lol). It actually was the best we had while in Boston. It is heavy in dill though, so keep that in mind if you don't like this particular spice. My wife had the swordfish sandwich, which was delicious. I had the Reuben, which was good, not great. Service was absolutely top notch. We'd definitely come back.
The Boston Sail Loft is just a great classic seafood restaurant on the water in Boston. It is not a fancy place, but the food is great with large portions and it is a great place to be for dinner. They do not take reservations but there is a waiting list the host will put your name down and then call you. There is a bar inside that is first come, first serve too. My wife and I came here Friday night for dinner and waited about 40 minutes to get a table which wasn't a bad wait. We hung out by the water in the meantime and it was very pleasant. I ordered the fish and chips, my wife ordered a lobster roll and bowl of clam chowder. The fish and chips were very good - they gave a lot of fish and fries also. The lobster roll on the menu says it is with mayo but they were able to make it hot with butter. The lobster roll was $36 but it was massive, it really was a great deal for a lobster roll these days in 2023, and it came with lots of fries. My wife said her clam chowder was very good too. We really liked this place and we definitely want to come back again. It's refreshing to come to a classic seafood restaurant that isn't trying to be upscale, and also isn't overpriced. We were very happy with our experience and will be back again soon.
The restaurant was pretty good. The service is friendly and relatively quick, and the food is well portioned and tasty. My only grievance is that the lobster rolls is mainly claw and knuckle meat (and lack of tail meat, like other spots), and the clam chowder (albeit tasty) is a bit lackluster in the clams. I would also recommend the calamari (which was fried well) and cajin shrimp. Just note if fewer than 4....the platter is quite a lot.
Nestled in the heart of Boston's Back Bay, Atlantic Fish and Co. stands as a testament to exceptional seafood dining. With its elegant yet inviting ambiance, this restaurant offers a quintessential New England dining experience. The menu boasts an i
My fiancee and I came here for our anniversary and it was just amazing. Our waiter was fantastic, I believe his name was Luke (not 100% sure) however, he made sure our anniversary dinner date was amazing. Drinks and food were delicious and we got a d
This was my first visit to this place, and the wait staff was exceptionally kind. Despite opening at 11:30, they allowed us to wait inside at 11:15, considering the rain. Once seated, we promptly placed our order. The food was incredibly delicious wi
This restaurant is fun and unique, boasting a neat outdoor/indoor seating arrangement that is heated. The food was fantastic. I ordered the buttered lobster roll and clam chowder with fries, which was a generous portion. This was one of the largest l
It's a high end restaurant, but the food is definitely worth it. Our waiter was wonderful, very attentive, and was intimately familiar with the menu which definitely adds to the experience. They also have an interesting drink selection, so definitely
Such a lovely and adorable oyster bar we stumbled upon. We didnt have a reservation and seated fairly quickly. The ambiance is warm and inviting. Enjoyed the selection of oysters. More on the expensive side but the dishes we got were delicious. The b
That lobster tasted so fresh and delicious! Definitely coming back here! Expensive but the quality is there. The crab roll was also amazing but the real star was the lobster roll. Next time I also want to buy some lobster to cook at home, they sell
Wicked Lobsta is BY FAR my favorite spot in downtown Boston to get a lobster roll. They have a special where you can get a drink, cup of chowder, and roll which is definitely the way to go!! The lobster is bountiful and so delicious. They cram a ton
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Bank Fish House in Boston, and I must say, it was an experience worth raving about. As someone who had just arrived in Boston from Orlando, Florida, I was eager to explore the city's culinary scene and indulge
It was so tasty I went back a second time for lunch! My #1 recommendation is the mango lemon drop. It tasted just like mango, a dangerous drink. I sat outside as it was summer and it felt great. The service was also fantastic. Everything I had was
