I got a handicap room. The beds were way too low. One bed should have been higher. The room was way too hot. I ended up leaving, after the Maintenance man had come and supposedly fixed the air. It was unbearable. It never moved passed 76 degrees, with the vent facing another wall, there was no way to cool the room. No ac was in the bathroom, so the floor was sweaty and slippery, my handicap friend almost fell. The shower chair was also too low. The front Desk Staff was really nice and apologetic, and the hotel is really nice inside, but this was not a good experience.

We stayed in a king suite!!! Service was wonderful we ate at both restaurants. The steak house though really takes the cake. Our food was delicious and cooked perfectly but the waitress, oh my goodness the waitress!!!! We were there for a birthday weekend for my husband. We ordered dessert and she brought it out singing happy birthday!!! And her voice was amazing!!! Even though we aren't much for gambling we really enjoyed our stay. It was definitely nice.

Great location. Nice rooms. Beds a little on the firm side. Comphy pillows. Parking garage. A tad stingy on the coffee packets & very small coffee machine.

I was just passing through and needed a room. This place sounded fun. So I went for it. I was here on a Tuesday and the restaurant was closed and I'm not a gambler. So I walked a few blocks to the chill part of town for dinner. It might be because of the daiquiris, or the 12 hour drive. Or both. BUT MAN DID I CRASH OUT. The bed and sheets and pillow were exactly what this guy needed. My room was comfy and clean and not overly expensive. I would come back.

We stayed here for one night in the King/Jacuzzi suite. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The jacuzzi tub had some issues with getting started but after a while of pressing the button it worked. The walls were very thin and we could hear the neighbors conversations, them playing music and partying. The room suited us well for the one night, if we ever go back to Louisiana and stay at Boomtown I would probably request a room next to some elderly's so we can get some better sleep :). Overall great service at the front desk and friendly staff. Sorry the pictures are a little blurry, it was a video and I took screenshot.

This review is only about the hotel. Like all the casino hotels in the Bossier/Shreveport area, age has gotten to Boomtown and could benefit from a complete demolition and rebuild. That being said, the hotel here is not as bad as some reviews make it out to be. It's mainly just worn and dated, but the rooms are clean and comfortable. The main thing is small things, such as a broken luggage rack that needed to be replaced, and a fridge just out in the open (as opposed to having it in a cabinet of some sort). A rebuild could solve other issues, such as the odd amount of empty space between the toilet and showers. Additionally, the lobby area, front desk and elevators could all be replaced.. This is what really makes it feel like a rundown hotel....old elevators, and old vibe, etc....hard to describe unless you go. But the stay is very friendly, and honestly, if the price is decent I would absolutely stay here again.

Room had a musty odor and the carpet was not clean . The could not see out of the window because it was so dirty. The pool wasn’t clean and most things are shut down besides the casino. Our room was not serviced while there . The entrance doors were blocked off and you had to go around. We will not stay here again.

The beds are comfy. A little dated and the service is decent. The whole checking in at 4 pm is ridiculous when there is an event going on because you have everyone crowded into the lobby. However overall it’s okay. The smell of weed kills me when people smoke it in a hotel room. I get a severe headache from it and when you purchase a hotel room that is non smoking and your room smells like weed because neighbors or someone down the hall decided to smoke it that’s frustrating. That isn’t on the hotel that’s on people in general.

This was the cleanest hotel I’ve had the pleasure of staying at in a long time. As somebody who travels frequently for work & pleasure and tries to stick with Hilton brand this says a lot. Every part of the hotel was spotless and smelled so clean!
