When the Boomers in El Cajon and Clairmont closed my kiddos were beyond 😔 sad. This past December when searching for something other than another bounce place for them to go, I was delighted to see there was still a Boomers left in SD county. Although it’s a drive to get there, hearing my kiddos scream with excitement when they saw there was still one open as we passed it and then even more happiness on their face to learn we were going there was the BEST!!!!
Note: for those with little ones, this one does not have the kiddie park. However, those that have kiddos tall enough to ride the rides and hit baseballs, play laser tag or old enough to play golf will be very happy.
Stopped by here after my mom and sister met my bestie and I in Anaheim for a fun weekend at Disney California Adventure and I was surprised to see it quite empty, but it was a weekday and trust me I wasn't complaining. My sis is special needs, but I heard she loved go carts, so it was an extra surprise as we headed back home to San Diego. And I am telling you I have been on go cart tracks since the 80s, and we couldn't keep up with that girl. It was clean, too bad food wasn't really being served but the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful to us. It was fun to play the dancing game for the 1st time ever! Overall, a fun couple of hrs and a grade of B+ to A-
Thank you. I hope places like this don't close down. People need to be more active, even in the game world.
Celebrated my son’s 10th birthday here for a fun visit. We didn’t rent a party space since it was just three of us but we had a great time playing mini golf and laser tag and arcade games for several hours. It’s definitely worth buying the pass that’s good for a few hours.
We had fun! Good for almost all ages...
My siblings and I, all in our 20s, recently visited this location primarily for the mini golf experience. It was our second time here, as we truly appreciate the captivating scenery, creative displays, and the overall variety and quality of the holes. Despite the need for a few hole revamps, we still find the mini golf course enjoyable and worth the approximately 50-minute commute (especially since the Boomers location in San Diego has permanently closed).
One of the main reasons we choose this location over a standard mini golf spot is the availability of Go Karts. We were thrilled to learn that they had recently introduced new karts, as we had an absolute blast with the old ones during our previous visits. However, this time, we noticed a peculiar issue. Although we didn't observe any noticeable differences in the karts themselves, the following morning, all of us experienced discomfort and pain in our backs and lower bodies. Our lower spines seemed particularly affected, as if they had endured significant strain during our Go Kart session. This is an entirely new experience for us, as we never encountered such discomfort with the previous karts at this location.
Currently, all of us are still enduring similar pain, and there are visible red dots and bruising in the areas where we feel the most discomfort. Although we expect to recover in a few days, we are curious to know if anyone else has encountered a similar issue with the new karts. Despite this incident, we genuinely hope that this matter can be addressed to ensure the continued enjoyment and safety of visitors.
I took my six year old to Boomers for the first time and he absolutely loved it. Lazer Tag, bumper boats, grand prix, mini golf and video games. You can get an attractions pass for one fee, different time limits. Very reasonable. Capable, efficient and friendly young staff were very welcoming. We went early on a Sunday and had the place to ourselves. When we left it was crowded. Conveniently located, plenty of parking. Can't wait to go back!!
My birthday there was so fun and the manager Bill was amazing! He is so kind and helpful and the workers there are funny and nice! And this is my 2nd time going! Honestly this is an amazing place to have birthday party or just for fun! I’m going to come here with my friends again because this is an amazing place to go to! And my siblings and I had to much fun!!
This is our second time being there. Our first time being there. We paid for all day passes, but we’re only going to get two hours so the general Manager Bill accommodated us generously And we wasn’t even looking for it. He’s so amazing he was so good to us this visit as well.. we have a family of seven so it’s expensive for us to go anywhere we appreciate you, Bill we will be coming back many more times. And we also got wonderful service from your Cook Dani.
Went here for a friend's wedding, and what a quaint spot! The wedding was small, about 150 people, and we had a mariachi band that was top-notch. Completely set the right ambiance and mood! The waiting area was on the side of when the buildings throu
