Book Nook Inn - Bed & breakfast in Lumberton - 10405 Cooks Lake Rd, USA

My wife and I are currently staying here because of the hurricane leaving us in with no electricity. David and Stacey are so amazing. With everything going in and feeling overwhelmed they have given us shelter, comfort and friendship. They have both gone above and beyond to make sure we are comfortable and happy. The breakfast is so amazing and cooked to perfection every morning. I catch myself waking up early with anticipation of fresh cooked eggs, bacon and fresh orange juice. This place is truly home away from home. The room is very cozy and private. We will definitely come back after all this is over. Please know if you’re reading this then you belong here. You will not regret it. I’m very grateful to have found this little home away from home. Thank you both so very much for everything.

Great place to spend a night or several. The house is an adventure in itself. The owners are nice but don't smother you. Breakfast was ready at 9 am, unlike hotels that use frozen food, the owner cooked everything and was delicious. Stayed in the Lindsey room, very well designed and roomy. Pool is nice, not big, but deep enough to move around. I personally wouldn't bring small children as the place has lots of things small fingers would grab. The outside could use a face lift with new paint, but don't let that fool you of what is inside. Definitely will stay there again when we are that way.

The service/owners were top notch! I stayed one night in the pool room. It was a super cute and I loved the feel of it. I slept well. I was served breakfast at 9 am and the food was AMAZING! The eggs were cooked perfectly and were from Heaven! The orange juice was fresh squeezed too! The common area was nice, lots to look at and explore. They even had a cinema, theatre area. I will definitely be staying again in the future!

Family wedding. This place is just magical! The architecture is really neat and each room has its own theme! There are also common rooms like the movie room, puzzle room, and tons of books! Such a neat place. We stayed in the room with a big Jacuzzi tub....I felt like a princess!!! The owners are absolutely amazing and the breakfasts were so good!!!! Would stay again!!!!

Very cute facility, even cuter couple maintaining it, you got to meet a lot of interesting people on learning a lot about the area, lot of venues and restaurants within a 20-minute drive, a nice pool, nice pond in the back. We stayed in the steampunk room and it was awesome

What a wonderful experience. We had a quick stay and had to leave early. The host made us amazing little breakfast sandwiches and coffees to go. The room was so ornate and awesomely decorated. The hosts were even kind enough to bring us an air mattress for my son who unexpectedly traveled with us. Very clean! We will definitely be back for a longer stay this summer.

The Cutest bed and breakfast it feels like your in a enchanted library. The grounds are beautiful it has nice pool and amazing stuff to do around the area. A must stay.

Sometimes mother nature acts up and roads become impassable. The Book Nook Inn has fabulous people with stellar communication. Highly recommend.
