The "Southern Gold" (or something like that) was one of the best foods I've ever had. Chicken breast filled with seafood stuffing, fried, and topped with crayfish sauce. Absolutely stupendous. The red beans and the greens were also great sides. The eggplant parmesan was good too, but that sort of thing can be found just about anywhere. No points off, I'd just say that the Italian stuff isn't their specialty. Go for the Southern food and you'll probably be exceptionally happy.

Desiree was our server and she’s thoughtful and takes the initiative. We ordered the Spinach and Artichoke dip for an appetizer. I had the Ahi Tuna blackened and seared it comes with two hush puppies and my two sides were sweet potato fries and baked Mac and Cheese. My wife got the Deep South Gold entree. It’s chicken breast stuffed, fried, and has a crawfish sauce on it. Her two sides were fries and potato salad. The Tuna was good, but the Deep South Gold plate was better! Overall good experience and would definitely go back. I added pics of our plates and honestly you couldn’t go wrong with either one.

Absolutely loved this place. A very nice Cafe with some great food. I had the shrimp pooboy and my wife had the lover and onions which was awesome

Just had an incredible dinner at Bonny C's with mein Papa! 🍽️ We went for the all-you-can-eat catfish, and it was beyond amazing. The fillets were thick, crispy, and piping hot—absolutely delicious. The red beans and rice never disappoint, and the greens were spectacular. Left the place feeling so full and satisfied. 10/10, would devour again!

Someone came out and spoke with me about the gluten free options that were available. She was very knowledgeable on the subject and I felt comfortable ordering food. We had a great time with friends while dining here. The food was delicious!

Nice small place with down home cooking, at an affordable price. My only complaint is that the staff isn’t friendly. You get a very dry welcome in and are basically ignored unless you get their attention. Could’ve been a bad day I’m not sure. The food is definitely worth giving it another try tho. Across the street has some of the best burgers in Slidell if not the best.

Stop by this place last year and forgot to leave a review. Was telling a friend about that Deep South Gold and had to post. 2 chicken breast with seafood stuffing. Mercy! This was so dang on good!

I have just recently moved here and discovered this place on DoorDash. Let me tell you, I am so happy to have! I've gotten the turkey platter multiple times and it's like having a homecooked meal by family, feels like a warm hug! So thankful for this restaurant and the people who work there!!
