We celebrated our dads 90th Birthday on Saturday 10/14/23 Everything was outstanding! Room setup was wonderful and food was delicious. Staff was so easy to work with:). Always there willing to help in anyway. I would definitely recommend. Thank you Ellie and staff!

And don't forget Taco Thursdays.

It is rare that I post 5 stars, but the overall cost to experience ratio makes the brook earn its worth. Played there the past 2 saturdays. Course conditions were in very good shape. Pace of play was not too slow making it tolerable. Any chance I am able to schedule a tee time there I look enthusiastically forward to the round.

I loved the layout of the course. There were plenty of elevation changes, ravines, and bunkers defending the greens. Fairways are tight and you are forced to go over and around trees on this course. The putts roll true and the greens have high and low tiers to navigate through. The staff was really nice but I am taking a star off because they got a lot of rain, and the bunkers were unplayable, and there were puddles of water everywhere. We were slipping and sliding in the fairways and the worst part was the greens were SO SLOW. Your household rug is faster. The grain was all jagged because of it so the greens are difficult to read. I don’t mind playing in these conditions, however it was not worth the $100 that we paid for it. They did not provide a discount for the troubles. Only play the course if there hasn’t been rain in the last few days or you won’t get your moneys worth! My score: 79 (+7) from 5900 yards

I played this course for the first time in a couple of years this past weekend. I grew up in Waukegan and played here my whole life. The course was as beautiful and well maintained as ever, but it seems as though revenue over anything else has hit here like everywhere else. I was glad to see a starter, which keep things in order at the 1st tee. That’s where order, etiquette and pace of play ended. We walked 18 holes and waited several minutes between EVERY SHOT while the group ahead of us thought they were playing in the US Open and studies every shot and every putt as if their livelihoods depended on it. The group ahead of them had at least two holes empty in front of them. No Ranger to keep things going. It took 4:40 mins for 18 for a 7:30 tee time is way too long. We normally walk 18 in 3.5 hours at the course we normally play. On top of that I saw guys wearing jeans, jean shorts and sweat pants. Not to mention the loud music coming from golf cart. 👎🏻👎🏻

Lovely place. The food was on point. Ronda was an amazing waitress. U just gotta love this place. The owner or whoever created the building Keep up the good work.👍👌👏Also these poses in the pictures look the same. Right??? (Not boasting i took those myself😊) Peace yall✌
